Alright this is my entry for the 2013 Bio Cup! The theme was make an original character so I finally made a self moc. So say hello to Mr. Ninja!
Articulated hands! (nothing special anymore judging by the current entries)
Main weapon The Pain Cleaver! (I know it's not an original name but I am terrible when it comes to naming things.)
well I guess that's about it hope to see you guys at round 2!
4th wall stuff: This little bugger gave me one heck of a hard time. I wanted to make a ninja type character using all black parts. But I was unsucessful in finding all of the connectors needed to hold him together. So he's about 98% black plastic and I called it good enough. Also for the keen eyed viewer I am using the same kind of mask for the head as last year. But I have changed the internal structure to have less parts hanging off of it.
This is some pretty sweet all-blackness. The designs work pretty well, but I feel like his shoulder lacks bulk or armor. Understandable for a ninja, but his physiology is more brutish than sleak. Some of his bits also have a bit too raw technic feel to them, like the back. 7 points.
For a ninja-themed Figure, this is pretty bulked out - not picking; I like that style, but looks more strong than agile, per se. Good fit, style-wise for the color commitment you made - I think a less gladiatorial-looking blade might've been a better fit than this one, but as before - it looks cool. Consider Theme heavily as you move forward; I assure you - your Opponents are. Still good work, and worth a 7 from me. Luck in Round 2~
Cool MOC, monochrome really suits this frame. I really like those gear shoulders (just used them in one of my Krika revamps), but the shield as a chest plate wasn't really the best piece for the job. It's very well made overall, even if not terribly original, and it's worth 7 points.
