Just outstanding, David. If you were trying to represent anything else, it would look totally rainbow warrior, but the form of the MOC makes every bit of color usage an act of genius. I also am really digging the use of the negative space on this one. Your artistic side makes this type of MOC such a strength for you.

Quoting David Roberts Hmmm, really quite scary and a little disturbing. To me this looks a bit like a stained glass window too. I love how you bring so many different themes and ideas to Lego building.
I'm taking a trip through ancient and medieval art at the moment, so expect some unusual things over the next week or so.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Inca? Aztec? The world will never know! Except for one thing: this is an excellent MOC; and like Yuri said, I love the use of gaps as a way to make angles not found with standard LEGO bricks. Nice work! 5/5
Sort of all those cultures; although it was Mexican art that inspired me.

Quoting Yuri Fassio I love how negative space gives you all those angles that Lego pieces can't.
I love negative space, such an under-used piece in the LEGO builder's toolbox.

Quoting MortalSwordsman . I love this. The colours and the symmetric design are fantastic. I knew it was yours from the thumbnail pic. Brilliant.
I decided to obey symmetry just this once.

Quoting Mastermind ? Wow, great mosaic! Those colors look seriously complicated.
I love balancing colours; black always helps the primary colours sit together.

Quoting matt rowntree It's like a happy version of Mihai's work. Although, I can almost hear the ominous music from when the Brady Bunch went to Hawaii and had that evil tiki around their necks. On a more reasonable note, this is beautifully primitive. You could put this anywhere in the Pacific ring and it'd look right at home. I feel like I should pray to it for good fortune. Where are my incense? ;) Excellante!
I must admit I did have Mihai in mind when I made this; I'm a fan of his work - who isn't.
