First of all, I would like to say thanks to The Lego Car Blog. They made two blog posts about my cars, and I am really thankful about that. Thanks, Guys! <br> Now, Let's go to this car. This is my favorite car in real life so far, for me the Subies are the best Japanese cars ever. So since my very first entry on this amazing website, I tought about building this into Lego Bricks. I have tried. Several times. And failed on every try. So I decided that I would only retry making this when I felt prepared and qualified enough for it. I feel that I already make great and detailed cars, But for this I had to take a step further. So this car has some all new features, that I've never put on my other cars. This is my entry for "The car Builder's Club sencond contest: Off roaders". Ladies and gentleman, I proudly present you this, the 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
About this creation
Overall view:

Front:

Side:

Rear:

The doors open. this is the coupe version, with only two doors. I wouldn't make the sedan because the catastrofic result of my Audi RS6 .

New Feature 1: window frame!

This gives the car a nice effect when they're open. wow!

Not much to say here, as you can see I tried to be as studless as possible.

another angle for the doors opened:

Interior. Studless!

The seats are adjustable...

Wii :D

This is the rear seat. The pull-back brick, that grey part, didn't allow me to make a decent space here.

New Feature 2: moving pedals!

Smooth base:

New feature 3:

Glovebox!

A simple tribute to Senator Chinchilla :D

This front is the best of 5 possible variations I've tried to do :D

New Feature 4: internal doors detail!

oookay, not much detail, but it's already a starting :D

The rear, with that giant spoiler...

Has a opening trunk!

Some space here. not that much because of the pull-back brick, again.

The engine, is... well...

The engine is horrible.

This is probably the worst engine I've ever done. But there was almost no room for an engine with that huge pull-back brick (Oh, you again??)

Details!

i really liked how these tail lights came out. :D

exhausts...

Amazing Spoileeeeeer :DDD

All open.

All closed.

If the pull-back bricks were disturbing the shape... Here we get the compensation!

All Wheel Drive Supremacy! Go Go Subaru!

New Feature 5: Smooth roof!

And with a solar roof too :D

Brake disc and caliper!

Base... and my head reflected LOL

New Feature 6: roof ridigity!

If I put my Audi RS6 this way, it would collapse. But not this time. The Collumns were made to resist 3 times this weight.

Hope you like this. Can I have your feedback? :D

Thanks for seeing!

I don't understand how you make them look that amazing. Stellar work once again!

Another nice one. One nitpick I have with this is that it seems too blocky, especially on the hood, and the center-top-whatever jargon that is could use some smoothing. Again, if you could add a reference image next time, that would be great.

What really stood out to me is the use of that hinge/whatever piece in the front. Fantastic PU, I don't see that used often. Nice color choice too.

As always, you have delivered an awesome car, with a whole bunch of awesome smaller details. From the pedals to the exhaust, this is awesome! I like how the seats fold forward like in a real car. Makes me want a real one!

Excellent model! The engine is not that bad, the only thing that I don't really like is the size of the wheels. They seem to be big for the car, but I know that is the only for such scale.

Wow, that's extremely cool and accurate, especially the front and the back. The 4WD is a great feature. Great job! :-))

You really get the lines of this car, my favourite part is the back, it´s impressive how you find your way in car building.

Quoting Ape Fight Nice effort. I do like this, but I'm going to be honest and only give it a 3, because I don't think it's as good as some of your other work. There are a few subtle details missing, and the track proportions are quite a way out. Still a good car - I've just seen you do better : ) Hope that's OK to say
No problem with that haha :D Everybody has its own opinion. Of course, maybe for some people my SLS AMG is still my best job, but for me this car -the Impreza WRX STI - was a personal realization. I mean, I really wanted to build this car, and I finally made it! About the purposes, Well, I would like to know where do you think I got a wrong result. Cause I want to make it as great as the real car! Anyway, thanks for your feedback! :DDDD

The use of that clamp on the front cpatures the look of that generation of Impreza perfectly. I wouldn't worry abour the engine: if you open the bonnet of my Legacy it looks very like that.

Very nice WRX! It looks great and I love all the details but its a shame that the pull-back motors get in the way of the engine. Other than that, great build!

Wow, this is a really nice Impreza Alexander. It looks very realistic and I love your attention to detail, especially in the interior. Its a shame that the pull back motors get in the way, but its a nice function. Overall, great build!

Very nice! The door frames are a super nice touch even though this year doesn't have them... The 4 wheel drive is awesome! It must have some get up and go when you pull it back right? Best of luck in the contest!

Recognizable! But it's nice to see you include door frames, but this generation Impreza hasn't got door frames http://images.thecarconnection.com/med/2006-subaru-impreza-sedan-2-5-manual-red_100096550_m.jpg so I'd wait until you next car to include them ;)

Excellent! The exterior is epic, the 4WD is cool, the interior is nice, and i love the new functions too! it's great to see that it can survive a roll over, and pile up! I have to ask on this picture: http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=363500&id=/user_images/90678/1372453036m what is that dark blue part, that's like a double one of this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=60478? BTW, congrats on winning the contest between you and Harry, and it's great to see that you were able to finish on time for the Off roaders contest! that was some quick building! :-)
