The first time I've touched Bionicle in 5 years as well the first time I've actually done something without stock limbs, so although he's not perfect I like him.
This was built for the Bio Cup round 1.
About this creation
Toa Egras lived Le Metru for most of his life and he was always tampering with contraptions and machines that he would find around the city, making everything from a lamp to a speeder bike. Now that he has become a Toa he has modified himself and his equipment to tackle any enemy and is always prepared. Although he may be tall and scrawny he has the brains to craft any weapon for the task at hand but he prefers he deals with it from a distance.
Back veiw, as pretty as possible.
Back access panel for repairs and modifacations, which happen often.
Light sheild with arm mounted flame thrower.
Some light armory for when things get close.
Small and light weight arm mounted cannons.
More perfered choice of weaponry.
So I hope everyone likes and I'd like to thank my Kyle Peckham for helping me get footing in the Bioncile world as well as the Mocpages world! So feel free to comment with crtisizm and whatever else you'd like to say!
Pretty cool one. The proportions are good and the design flows decently. The forearms look a bit jumbled and fragile, but the legs and torso quite make up for it (alhtough that Hero Factory armor could have been moved a tiny little bit to the front, but thats me nitpicking). To be fair, for somone who hasn't touched Bionicle in 5 years, this is quite the achievement. A solid 8.
Hmm.. you own your very own Kyle Peckham? Interesting... Anyway, onto your MOC. Great proportions that fit the character (even with that forward pelvic positioning), tons of little details including the back access functionality. Hard to nitpick this one, the non-customised mask perhaps? Despite the fact that it fits with the character's theme. You get a 7.
A very nice blend of various shades of silver and grey. His posture is rather interesting, as well as some of his designs, diggin' those slizer feet on his thighs. However, the armoring for his arms is a bit one-sided and his posability seems to suffer quite a bit. The chance to arm him with various combinations is a nice bonus. 7 points.
I like the overall ApocaMOC-feel to this build. It clearly has elements that lend to your chosen self-customizing Theme. Bits like the gas-mask-look for that Mask help, too. I LOVE the back-panel access gimmick, nice feature! Good closure on limbs and torso, stocky, but sturdy look. Good commitment to colorscheme and Style (like the bright-colored shield and flame accessories contrast, when equipped). 7 points, and Cheers!~
The torso is a bit short and the Metru brain in the back doesn't convince me. However, the building and designs are marvelous. The legs look awesome, I wish I could design something like those (I tried once, six hours wasted for nothing); and the torso, while I already stated that I find it a bit small, has an incredible design, love the front and the back (great idea the back access panel!). You'll become famous soon, I'm sure, if you keep like this. Great job, and good luck in the contest, my dear!
