Pock, the Mighty
No need to start wars for a difference of opinion - just head to the field.
About this creation
After the reformation of Spherus Magna, the Great Beings were willing to start new projects to populate the mega-planet even further. They began experimenting with new elements – one such being carbon. In only a matter of 1 year*, they created 150 new C-Matoran, made 25 of them Toa, and made 1 of the Toa the Turaga of the tribe.

The C-Matoran tribe wore black armor, similar to the Onu-Matoran. However, the Earth tribe was much more populous, numbering close to 1000, perhaps more. Knowing this, the Great Beings feared the new C-Matoran would be wiped out before new minerals could be extracted from different planets to make more. As such, they created armor from an unusual silver-colored substance known as Miry’Chryst (pronounced Meree Christ). Miry’Chryst had the ability to turn transparent, making it seem the substance was invisible. The Miry’Chryst was turned into armor to give to the C tribe. This armor allowed the body part in which the armor was placed to turn transparent, making the wearer’s body part become invisible. This offered protection from hunters and dangerous Rahi. However, it seemed illogical to put Miry’Chryst armor all over the C-Matoran, and as such, all the C-Matoran carried what was known as a “Shadow Creator.” This allowed darkness to be applied to any vertical, flat thing (ex: a wall). While the armor did its job, the Matoran would conceal the rest of his body in the shadow, making a 100% invisible Matoran. The Great Beings have given all the Miry’Chryst to the Turaga of the Tribe. They believe that, when the C tribe becomes more populous, they will have no more need for Miry’Chryst.

Though numbering very few, Turaga Onewa gave the new tribe permission to form a Kohlii team, which remained a popular sport on Spherus Magana, though some rules were added – the biggest one being that Matoran were allowed to create custom-made Kohlii staffs (and shields), being used once Turaga Onewa has approved the staff as “fair.” A Kohlii team was formed by 4 athletic and kind C-Matoran – one such being Pock.

Pock was eager and energetic. When the C-Turaga put up listings for a Kohlii team, he leaped at the chance. He believed that his tough and compact Miry’Chryst boots and skinny arms would give him an edge in running and shooting. And it did. He became the goalie of the C-Matoran Kohlii team. On the battlefield, he would be sharp and edgy. However, outside of the Kohlii games, he was a soft and kind person.

Pock was quickly gaining the status of a Hewkii-level champion. His custom-created staff; humbly named “Pock’s Hammer,” was a fan favorite staff. This staff had a strong hammer and a straight scoop. Pock’s favorite move was to lift the ball up with the hammer and then grab it in mid-air and shoot it with the scoop.

Ever since the creation of the C-Matoran, Pock was mighty. Now, he was known as the Mighty. And he was, from then on until his death.

*In BIONICLE time, 1 year is VERY short. I’m just sayin’.

FOURTH WALL COMMENTARY

Phew. Been quite a while! Sorry about all you hepful people - I'm not leaving the LEGOs just yet!

Anyways, this is my entry to the EBC , where entrants had to make a Carbon Matoran Kohlist.

Pock represents carbon in a number of ways.

  • Black, for obvious reasons

  • Silver, which represents uncut diamond (read the story for details

  • Red highlights, which represents burning carbon

  • And, his personality, sharp and rough on the field (diamond), yet soft and caring out of it (graphite / coal)

Anyways, that's all! Don't forget to rate and comment!

BAH!

Quoting Kookie Devourer Looks pretty nice. I like the staff and shield, and I also like the extra armor on the shins. The color connections to carbon are also well though out. Overall, a very nice job!
Thanks a lot! :D
