Tyranca is a Toa of Light and the co-founder of the Torm. She fights with a sword, whilst her modified Kaukau Nuva allows her to not only breathe under water, but in any environment without oxygen. She appears as a tough, cynical Toa, but those who have the patience to get to know her better will discover a softer, more pleasant personality.
Tyranca was one of the many Matoran migrating from the Matoran universe to Spherus Magna, and was shortly transformed into a Toa, an effort by the Order of Mata Nui to create more Toa. She ended up working under the Order, not as a member but as a simple grunt. At one point she, along with many other Toa, was sent to an unnamed planet to explore and possibly exploit its resources. They were met with resistance from a species of barbaric bipedal canines, and war was waged. One of these creatures, named Sohbec, was drawn to her, an idea which repulsed her. Panicked, she rejected him and ran away from the battle.
Tyranca had been pondering migrating to Racta Magna ever since, but was unable after the planet was placed under quarantine due to the war. After the death of Aroxion, she finally made the move, expecting a happier life. She took Anut with her, a Toa of Iron who was her friend. However, they were unable to get into the city of Racta Major, and was left in Racta Minus. They met many others in the same situation, and they ended up founding the Torm (Toa of Racta Minus), an alternative to living in Racta Major.
Concerned with the fact that Racta Major had not opened its doors in three years, Tyranca waited outside the city until the Toa team called the Contenders set out to find Makuta Reshak. Tyranca confronted the Toa, only to find Sohbec again, who had been tracking them down. After a short battle, Tyranca returned to the Torm, satisfied that the Contenders now knew who they were. She even tried to help stop Reshak and Thanatos from entering Racta Major, but unfortunately failed to contain them.
Tyranca is currently in Racta Minus.
Here is an overview. I wasn't planning on giving her an upgrade just yet, I was just trying to find a way to attach her knife, when the torso just fell apart. I thought that was a good a reason as any to revamp her.
Also, It's a little difficult to tell, but this was my first attempt to add hair at the sides, as well as the back. Didn't work too well this time, but practice makes perfect! :P
The back. Because it is such a specific mold in such a specific colour, I wanted to include Rocka's Plasma Shooter piece in a MOC at some point, and I have, so yeah.
Also, I know the thighs are bare at the back, but I wanted the armour facing the front instead of the sides, to bulk up her hips.
With her knife, which was sort of the reason for the revamp :P
It attaches to her side, too! It doesn't limit poseability THAT much, so that's a bonus!
Dorru now has a weapon, too! (also, how do you like my first attempt at a split screen? XD)
Proof that Metru Man and Ciaros are still intact :P
Duelin' with The IRM
Remember that "HUGE project; a forty-five minute animation video" that I mentioned on Ciaros's page? Well, it's going good; I'm more than half Way through the animation, with only the final scenes, music and SFX that need to be created. one thing though, I'm starting to think that this will be a tad longer than 45 minutes, I hope you don't mind! I'm pretty sure that I'll be done by the end of the year, yet you can't promise anything with these things :P
As I said before, this means I'm unable to post an awful lot, and with exams looming ever closer, numbers are only going to go down.
I'm pretty sure that the Hero Factory summer sets are going to be released in Britain soon, so the next thing I'm most likely to post are those reviews (unless I do another random revamp or some contest entry)
she does look good in gold. dorru looks cool and metro man looks like my self moc brusk! I can't wait 4 the 45 minute animation vid! and remember my makuta generals moc(s)? well all of the generals r done. just need a camera.
5/5 on tyranca, 5/5 on both versions of dorru, and 4/5 on metro man.
