Retribution class Arsenal Ship
We all have secrets. We all have those skeletons in the closet, those dark tales we try to hide and hope they never find us. We all try to escape the past . . . but Retribution finds you. Retribution comes out of nowhere and hits you without ever being seen. Retribution pops up in your face and spits in it. Retribution is inescapable. It will find you . . . and it will kill you.
About this creation
I didn't feel like doing a full shock-and-awe writeup for this ship so lets get right into it.

The Retribution class Arsenal ship is a great projection of force but what is an arsenal ship? An arsenal ship, for those who donít know, is the modern incarnation of a battleship. As missiles with their range and guidance phase out cannons, a ship is needed to provide the same bombardment against ships and land targets that battleships did. The answer is the arsenal ship which is quite well defended, very stealthy, and despite barely being larger than a large destroyer, puts most missile destroyers to shame.
The Retribution ship has a multitude of firepower that can really rain havoc upon its enemies and to make it untouchable by any means.

The Arsenal ship as a lot of retracting defensive weaponry to maintain stealth but why does it have covers on the VLS tubes? They are flat against the deck and donít mess with stealth at all. The answer is pressure. The VLS hatches canít withstand pressure at depth. Thatís right, the Retribution is submersible. Its batteries can sustain full speed (under 30 knots underwater) and all electronics on at once for up to three days. If it barely moves and uses only some of its lighting and electronics, it can remain under for up to a week before it must surface or at least get shallow enough to raise an air snorkel and run the diesel generator to recharge.

The Retribution has a total of 4 compact CIWS guns that lower down into the hull. They have slightly shorter range and less power because of this.

The Retribution has two SAM turrets by the bridge to defend itself against aircraft. These were not downsized to make them retractable.

There are 8 ALDS emitters (4 by bridge, 2 on bow, and 2 by helideck) for defense against missiles, nearby aircraft, and railgun rounds.

On the bow is a 150mm recoilless cannon to add some close range bite against other ships.

For more medium range ship engagements and for sub-surface engagements, the Retribution carries our Hammerhead heavy torpedo. It is the standard ship-launched torpedo for the NCA. The Retribution has 4 tubes in the bow, 2 in the stern, 3 on each side under the bridge, and two on each side under the transition between the helideck and rearmost VLS silos.

The Retribution carries the same VLS missiles as our other vessels. It can also carry the SVLS missile (as seen on our Reaper missile sub) designed for sub-surface deployment.

It also carries our standard ICBMs and can have these replaced with our SDBMs (as seen on the Jericho missile sub) aka, Submersed Deployment Ballistic Missile.

Lastly is an NCA long range cruise missile. Like all our cruise long range cruise missiles and ICBMs, it uses our 36 munition cluster warhead and has a variation for submersed launch.

INSTRUCTIONS: The downloadable instructions are for the ship only. If you want any of the smaller sub-builds (not that you shouldnt be able to figure them out yourself) drop me an email or a comment with your email asking for the one of your choice. Remember, these cannot be used in any war game group without due credit and written permission from me.
EDIT: realized I forgot to add my email. I feel stupid now.

Quoting Rennesis @war Size it self is just good, making it higher maybe gives you more room to add extra's to this ship. If I may..... Ever seen the anime-series "Gundam"? What if you could launch hardsuits or mech's from this ship instead of planes? And camouflage the launch-bay's as if your ship were a oiltanker.
After thinking on it for a while, that would be cool to do a helicopter carrier on the hull. I don't have any hardsuits, mechs, or anything gundam related built to use this as a carrier for so best I can do is helicopter carrier (maybe aircraft, I'll have to see). Bottom line, challenge excepted my friend.

Thanks for inviting me, I'll join when my family is settled in our (not really new, as we've lived there before) house. Have you seen my Bonnie? I'd like your opinion on it.

Quoting Rennesis @war Damm Zach, that's one big ship. If I may make two suggestions. 1. add another level to the ship (side-canons, missile-packs, escape-pods, etc. 2. add some details to it turrets, cannons, launchers, maybe a hidden flightdeck, launcingtube, a combatbridge on the front of the ship. Sorry if I getting a bit carried away, haha
I'ts only the size of a large missile destroyer. Although are you suggesting I should take the design bigger? Missile battleship aircraft carrier?

Quoting Sam Sanister I'd join Warzone 2147 beta, but a life problem that takes time away from Legos is happening. Maybe I'll be able to join when the next version of Warzone 2147 comes out.
Right now it's in Beta. I don't ahve many players and I am very accomadating. It exits Beta on Jan 1 2014. Hopefully you can join then.

Quoting Sam Sanister That is a heavily armed ship/sub. I like it! What is this warzone 2147, why do I keep seeing it mentioned on this page, and more importantly, is it LEGO?
Warzone 2147 is a war game that I am in the process of developing. I currently have a setup group for it and I would like to get the open beta for it rolling by July 1. Your units and other military assets are your lego creations. That answer your question?

This is what war game tech should be. Perhaps I could interest you in helping with Warzone 2147 which will be in beta from July 1 to December 31 and will officially be out of beta Jan 1 2014.

Quoting manthanboeing MAD If you start D&C III, then ya, i will join, i prefer WW2 era, but i can do modern, i dont do space warfare
In Warzone 2147, it is all modern era type stuff but the kicker is you can have space transports (virtually no warfare) that let you fight on 6 different planets. D&CIII will not be by me and will be Cold war, Modern, or post-modern era. And I meant join D&CII. It's active now.

Quoting manthanboeing MAD Very good idea, may i use that?
I don't see why not. Hey, I looked through your groups (to make sure you weren't using it for DA) and I saw you were in Conflict II. Would you have any interest in Divide & Conquer II? We are in need of some new players as the game is becoming predictable and dry and we are thinking about a D&CIII (while I am hard at work on Warzone 2147). If you join, I can see about helping you as a starting nation and possibly get you some lent land since free space is in short supply.
