A classic Lego set, with a deadly twist...
About this creation

"Hello, I am Janice Stardust, representative of the Space Port Company."

"Since 1999, we have been the market leader in Lego based space launch systems, and our products have been used across the world. Unfortunately times have changed since 1999, and Lego nations have found themselves under constant threat from strange and deadly forces. Many nations have little to no defense abilities."

"To help bolster your nation's defense, Space Port Company proudly introduces the Countdown ICBM, based on our successful Countdown Satellite Launchers!"

"The Countdown ICBM includes a new navigation suite, ready to deliver any payload to its destination. Also stored inside is a small C4 explosive, ready to disarm the missile in mid-flight"

"The Countdown ICBM can carry a diverse family of conventional and nuclear warheads. Here we can see technicians loading a 25 Megaton Nuclear warhead into the ICBM's payload compartment."

"The Space Port Company has also developed a mobile missile launcher to add tactical mobility to the Countdown ICBM. Your nation's enemies will never know your missiles location! The mobile missile launcher is compatible with most intermodal transportation trucks, and can also support previous Countdown products."

"So what are you waiting for? Buy your nation a fleet of these today!*"

Builder's Commentary:
The 6454-1 Countdown Corner was one of my first Lego sets, and one of the few I am lucky enough to own two copies of. Since my original set had fallen apart into pieces, I decided to piece it together into a much more dangerous device, while keeping to the style of the original model. Don't pass up on the chance to get one of the 1999 Space Port sets, they are excellent models.

Quoting Zach Eli "Sierra" Sykes I've always admired the old space theme. It was some of Lego's better work. You have just made it a little more interesting and more explosive. I love it. And you did keep the original style quite nicely.
Thanks for the compliment, this has been one of my favorite MOC's to build!
