Quoting Tim C Excellent work, Joe. You have been sneaking some MOCs in there without me noticing them. I love the color choices on this and the shaping is spot on. I would love to see what skills like yours could do with a spaceship. Just putting that out there;) Some great interior work and nice touch with the race number on the side.
Thank you so much Tim, I might just give a spaceship a go. I have made a few small ones but nothing on the scale of your masterpieces :)

I like the details, such as the number on the side, the gold wheel trim and that Technic plate on the front, which looks just right. I suppose that these are rare cars now as many must have been slid and rolled and crashed on dirt roads around the world.

Thanks for the kind comments Nils, glad you like it :D. Currently working on a few 4 and 5 wide cars but have plans for another large scale car soon. I have been threatening to build a 1:10 scale technic car too, but just can find the inspiration to start.

Quoting Ape Fight LOVE it!! One of my favourite cars ever (seriously thinking about buying one) and built beautifully here. Superb job Joe, 5/5 + 1 for using full-stud : )
Hi Ape. I was really hoping you would like this one. I knew you were a fan and that was one of the driving factors to complete it. It took me ages to get the headlight and grille area right, and then integrated into the bonnet and wings. I tried to make the silver trim (around the grille) but could not get it to look right at this relatively small scale. The headlights are my favourite part - I tried to recreate the look of them being taped up (you know with black tape in the shape of a cross) hence the 1x1 round plates under the ‘glass’. I got really fed up with it so it collected dust for about 2 months. Really pleased you like it Buddy :D Long live CRT! Next is the P68.

Thanks guys really please you like it. @ Beni - Not so much a vintage FORD fan but I must admit I like the escorts and GT40s. I am a big fan of 60s cars in general. @ Alex - This is not the rally version but yeah these wheels are bit too wide even for this category of racing. Thank you both for the kind comments

Love it! it's tiny, fast and awesome! just one thing.. The original Rally escort had REALLY tiny wheels. Ridiculously tiny, and these are a bit too big, but I guess there isn't as much choice in parts. 9/10!

Thank you so much Mihe for the lovely comment. I know this style looks quite 'simple' but there are many sophisticated snot technics behind the scenes to create the "studs outside" style.

Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Yo! Glad to see you finished it mate! Looks spiffing. The curves are really nicely done, looks great with the studs, that's why I think you should have kept the studded theme for the back, the smooth looks a little out of place there, other than that I love this car, you've done a fantastic job creating a cult classic car. Now I want to play with it in person :-) I started a new car today, my first yellow car :-)
