Micro-Scale City Tile: Test
Well, this is the first micro-scale city-related MOC I've ever done, and it turned out amazingly. I'm actually surprised I was able to make such a thing! I definately think this is going to go well in the contest. LOOK OUT, BRICKCITY! HERE COMES THE BRICK GUNS! (gettit? big guns and brick guns?)
About this creation

Here's just a quick look at it from a few sides.

The blue building is a university. I couldn't think of anything else to call it, so whatever...

The small thing with the white tooth on the top is a hotdog stand, with a bus stop behind it.

You can see a grey bus driving around the corner into the bus stop. Oh, and if you're woundering why the vehicles are on the right side of the road, it's because that's the way it is here in australia. This is not australia, however, but I still decided to put it like that...

You can see I also made a train.

There are also boomgates, which can move up and down.

The little green section will become a park, but that's another tile...

Since I'm a doctor who fan, I couldn't resist putting a TARDIS in it.

The tall grey building is an office block. It's surprisingly simple to build.

And now for the masterpiece of this tile. The apartment block is on top of a stepped area, created by offset bricks. The main section is a technique I learned from lego creator, where you use those bricks with the studs on five different sides to make an octagonal shape.

There's also a look-out deck on top of it.

And who could have it without a flag!

Okay, that about wraps it up. Perhaps before I finish this, I should give out some guidelines. Tell me what you think of them, brickcity...

- Roads should be driven on the right hand side. (Changed to left hand side by agreement with brickcity.
- Trains (to avoid crazy systems) shouldn't turn. Only straight lines.
- Roads should be two studs wide.
- Tiles should connect to existing ones in the way the roads go.
- Cars can be copied from other tiles and re-coloured. Sam applies for bus stops, hotdog stands, buses and train tracks...

Well, how does that sound? Any other ideas? Anything need to be changed? Let me know brickcity...

Quoting michael k. Everything looks good, maybe make a way for the folding bridge to be completely flat when down, and use square, rather than round plates for the windows in the tallest building.
The gates (they're gates, not bridges) do fold down, they're completely movable. Also, the round plates look better in the building...

Quoting Halhi 141 Pretty good, though it could use more detail and interesting parts use...
It's my first try at micro-scale cities, so I'll get better...

Quoting Garrett A. Neat! I like the tower.
Thanks. Which one? The office block or the apartment block?

Quoting Seamus M. That's a very nice micro scale city! I like the TARDIS.
Thanks! I still don't know how you can say T:A:R:D:I:S: on here, though. Apparently its a censored word...
