Antarctic Flak Cannon Facility
Rated "The Most Brutal Place for a Military Private to be posted" by Despotic Monarch's Digest.
About this creation
For Decisive Action.
"The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable." Sun Tzu

In Antarctica, it was decreed that all along the northern coast Flak cannons would be built, dug, entrenched into the snow, with a control bunker per station, and them all being connected by trenches.
It is by no means a warm posting, nor is it pleasant, but in battle, the fortification is what counts.
These canons, of significant calibre to shoot down surveillance drones, enemy planes, and any attempt at an invasion. They are surrounded by snow, and ice, acting as a natural defense, but also as camouflage.

(I just noticed that that brick had fallen of. The damn cold keeps wrecking the cement.)

This is one territory defence MOC, More are coming.

General Hayden. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to review this MOC, but I am working up from a massive back log. This is in my opinion, one of the best FFP MOCs in the DA pool. There are so many details that rock. The wooden liner in the ice trench. The twin machine gun in the control bunker, the use of white camouflage, and of course, the gun itself is cool. In your text I see that these guns line the "northern coast". You do realize of course, that in Antarctica... all the coast is "northern coast" right? This MOC is better than the current yellow head count indicates. Defend!

General this diorama is outstanding and truly one of the best I've seen in the category. I like the way you've made everything snow-covered to match your in-game territory. Good stuff. You are also specifications accurate.

General, you might want to check the GC 4 thread to see why your attack went wrong.

Very nice, this a well built and well thought out MOC, and shall make for a fine defense. Not that you'll need it very badly, who in their right mind would attack Antarctica anyway?!??
