Fixed a few small issues and added four AIM-7 Sparrow air to air missiles under the front and rear fuselage.

That's perfectly wicked! Instantly identifiable. Your lines are spot on and that dual canopy is superbly clever. Most impressive!

I'm holding on to the files for now, sorry. I may release them at a future date, after I complete all my variants.

Cool, if you don't mind me asking, can you send me the file? I understand if you don't want to and everything, but if you can, that would be cool.

Quoting Tomas Crncevic I am speechless. This is amazing! My grandfather flew both the F-4C and the F-4D in the 1960s. Is this using LDD?
Yes it is LDD. At 4000+ pieces I simply don't physically have the elements to make the model, but LDD lets me still create. I am going to try to order the parts to build at least one of my F-4's though.

Thanks for the comments! In reply; - USAF Phantoms did not receive an integral cannon until the E model, although the D did receive a lead computing gunsight. Unfortunately the gun pods were prone to vibration when firing which greatly affected their accuracy. Navy/USMC Phantoms never got an integral cannon, as it was feared the longer nose with the heavy gun installed would have negatively affected carrier landing performance. - I tried to go with a clear cockpit, several different avenues in fact, but ultimately the elements just weren't there for a convincing LEGO clear canopy, thus the blue you see. As is the front and rear canopies appear slightly shorter than they should because the blue continues down too far, giving them a stubby appearance. I may revisit the design again and seek a solution. - I plan on attempting an A-6, A-7, and F-14 at the very least. Still have a few more Phantom variants to finish, including a USN S, British RN K FGR1, German F ICE, Japanese EJ Kai, and perhaps an Israeli Kurnass. I also have a number of Star Wars MOCs posted, and am working on a VERY large scale Star Destroyer (the bridge tower is 120 studs wide) in LDD.

Perfect! I love the weapons.

Very nice, and very large! Though, I thought that by the -D model, the Phantoms already had guns installed. Is that a gun pod on the belly? Either way, its excellent, only add clear glass (which might be difficult) to the cockpit. 5/5 and a new favorite builder!

Speechless. One of the most accurate Phantoms here. The included camo is great!

Wow, that is probably the best lego aircraft model I've seen on this page for a year. Really, spectacular job. I amazed by the amount of work you had to put in this beast, it seems to me it's in about 1:18-1:20 scale. Very creative way to make a canopy and I love opening radome. I just hope it's not the last real-live aircraft from you!

Another very nice model! Have you considered doing any other Vietnam-era Navy aircraft (e.g. the Corsair II or the Skyhawk)? I'd love to see them done with the same degree of detail.

Model features dual opening canopies with detailed cockpits, opening radome, functional landing gear with multi-piece doors, positionable flaps, spoilers, and airbrakes, positionable tailhook, all-moving tailplanes, positionable RAT (Ram Air Turbine), and folding wingtips. Model also features LORAN "towel bar" on the aircraft spine, centerline SUU-16 M61A1 Vulcan 20mm rotary cannon gun pod, 4 AIM-9 Sidewinder air to air missiles, 6 Mk 82 general purpose bombs with fuse extenders on triple racks on the inner wing pylons, and drop tanks on the outer wing pylons.
