Audi S1 Quattro Rally Car (5-wide)
About this creation
Welcome to my latest MOC: the S1 Quattro. This is a build through all the the other business.

You might have seen this car before, at Starscream Soundwave, or Nils O., and you might see I used some of their techniques.

Hope you enjoy.

The rear. A little basic, but not every rear needs to be complicated.

Side. I made it 5-wide so the bodykit fits nicer. Credits for the bodykit to both Starscream and Nils.

Just in case you were wondering how I did the foglights in the grille ;)

The spoiler is not difficult. I like the design though...

The 3.0 CSL is actually quite a contender for this one, German, 5-wide, widebody and all...

@Nick: Yes, it's 5-wide because in 4-wide that detail seemed a bit hard. Thanks! @Starscream: I think they are quite good. But that's my opinion! Thanks for the comment! @Tom: not too hard, I just picked the chassis of another and started to build. And that comment was no problem ;) @Mr. Smith: I appreaciate your energy of putting a comment on my creation. Cheers, sir. @Karol: Thanks a lot for taking the time to view my creation!

Mr Marcus, I've been expecting you..... Another great creation! It doesn't seem hard to build this in 5-wide, IMO. (O_O) Well done!

A really cool rendition! I really like it! It's hard work making 5-wides. Thanks for your comment earlier Loek!

I still think the proportions are not quite right in five wide, but it does look good, and I like the lights. Great work!

The wide body covering the wheels is a nice improvement, and it looks right. Cool foglight action too :-)

@Vinny: thanks! @Alex: Thanks. I might experiment with the wheelbase. @LegoNoitAll: My favorite parts too! :D @Senator: thanks! @Nils: Y-spoke? Could you give the Bricklink? (Brick Link link, get it? :D)

Quoting David Roberts ... I like how neatly you made those fog lights and the clear binoculars look great too. I never would have though to look for them in LDD. ....
Everything is possible in the Extended Mode, it's my favourite LDD function, too ;-)) And I have these binoculars on my Bricklink Wanted List. I'll get an email as soon as the first one appears in trans-clear, trans-red or trans-black color. I just have to get some of these as soon as possible :-)) P.S.: Those white wheels are on my Wanted List, too, they are perfect for this model... My one now has the new white "Y spoke" wheels instead of the gold ones (time for a new photo or two).

Nice job translating the four wide into five! With the bigger scale you can add so many more details!! I would do a Nils suggested and add 1 stud in the wheel base, the. It'll be perfect!!! :) still a 5/5

Quoting David Roberts I find small cars like this fascinating because the more you look at them the more interesting techniques are revealed. I like how neatly you made those fog lights and the clear binoculars look great too. I never would have though to look for them in LDD.
Thanks David! I think the foglights are my favorite parts :D

Quoting Nils O. Great, a 5-wide version! It really looks cool, but the overall shape is a little wide now. That's always a "problem" when you convert a 4-wide model into a 5-wide. Maybe you could add a stud in the length to fix the proportions. Anyway, great job! :-)) P.S.: Thanks for the credits, I appreciate that! :-))
Thanks Nils! I also checked that. I think when you add 1 stud it is too long. And your credits are necessary, I wouldn't even come up with this car without you :D
