"Shark Soup" ME-83 Fighter Jet (UEA)
My defensive aircraft for the group, Decisive Action. A 4 or 5 star rating will greatly support the UEA and keep us in the action. We hope that you allow us to win. Thanks! And enough of these microscale planes. I introduce one of the FIRST minifigure scale planes to DA.
About this creation

Nation : Union of East Asia
Territory Number : EA23 map
National Motto : Gens una sumus sub uno vexillo. In unitate stamus. Translation: We are one people under one flag. United We Stand.

This is for the group, Decisive Action

The ME-83 "Shark Soup" Fighter Jet is a relatively small aircraft at about only 13.5 feet tall and 62 feet long. Its purpose is to outflank and outrun potential attackers. It can dash through the sky with finesse and take down lumbering bombers. These aircraft are durable and can take almost anything. It's top speeds reach 1600 mph. With only 1 pilot, these sleek ship can combat any other type of flying mechanism. In its wings are special hydraulic and piping systems that can put out fires and stabilize the wings in case of a hit.

Busy day. Dem engies are running around fixing the plane so it will be ready to scramble at any moment. Y'know, their engies. They fix things. Like sentry guns... What am I talking about? Idk.

A different view of the hangar.

The early morning sun, or the glare of nighttime spotlights. Either way, they illuminate the hangar.

A wing being illuminated from above.

Pilot Krakus Le. From a poor Cambodian family. Flew on a kite over the regional governor's mansion and threw feces on it. He was saved by the UEA before being executed. He hates tyranny and loves to fly. Perfect for the job.

A more front view of the plane.

Side

The one engine in the back. This thing lets "The Shark Soup" go 1600 mph.

The top

The Landing gear.

Krakus Le was shot in combat during the invasion of Sichuan Basin. His plane was found the following day, and Krakus was found two months later wandering around in the Siberan Plateau. He is in stable condition.

From left to right:
Kir "Haks" Fuji. He saws and cuts
Shin "Keys" Huo. Commander of the crew. Always with a drink of capri-sun and a key that leads to nothing.
Kuo "Glass" Phote. The standard engineer. As cliche as you can get.
Un-named guard who hates his job. Which type of sentry doesn't? Am I right?
Joshua "Knapsack" Unglaterad. No one is sure where the heck he came from and what's in his bag, but he gets the job done.
William "Flare" Guo. Rarely shows his face and welds for the crew.

Medical supplies are kept out of reach so as to discourage injuries. We've only lost 27 guys this year, and we saved 2.5 million in medical supplies. Nonetheless, we care about our citizens.

The computer is a PC. The UEA is run on PCs. Take that Apple.

A piano to play. After all, we're in Asia.

So lonely...

The top.

Hangar One.

There's always that one guy who has to slice all the employee's bike tires and take pictures of his deed and post to instagram.

The plane looking out to the horizon.

Prepare for takeoff. Due to our high safety standards, our firefighter is a 89 year old retiree who can still play the trumpet.

Welding. That's it. The following pictures are not included in the roleplay factor of the UEA. The following are pictures that I messed up on.

The rear end, and what appears to be a dinner.

My dinner. Ahem. The UEA's dinner. This is what the troops eat every Thursday. Naw. I was testing some settings.

And as always, Opa Gangnam Style! Op Op Op...

Nice conglomeration of odds and ends and a funny name! I like all the support columns, they really add a lot to the hangar.

Well, it seems you are on board now. I have completely forgotten that I had liked your stuff already...

I see you are taking every opportunity of gaining popularity... But since mostly just the DA members are promoting right now, that might not be as effective as you would want.

General Almighty. I regret that it has taken me so long to review this MOC. You are doing a great job of exploiting the DIOs and packing them with extras like the tire slasher, the medical supplies, the welder. All of it is great. Way to use the specs to your advantage. Food? Really? I mean, Gang Nam Style and all... but a picture of dinner? General, you have NO shame! At least you didn't try to make it part of the dio (then I would have had you, for non-lego components). And yes, the relationship between the supports and the aircraft wings is slightly awkward. But she is what she is. Good MOC, good effort. Get some!

Quoting Dylan Something Nice! But when the plane leaves the hangar wont it's wins slice through the support poles...?
Aw. You noticed. Yeah. But if they aren't there, the roof falls in. So. I just say that they are mechanized and will move up for the time.

Wow, the food-porn was unexpected, but I like surprises. General, your hangar is by far the largest to date, and by far the most detailed. Take the skies, and good luck, you model is Specifications-accurate.

This is too great not to comment on! I REALLY, REALLY like this, and it sucks that we are not on the same side, or else I would definitely give this 5/5 stars! Great job! P.S. I like how the medical supplies includes a sword, that could come in handy.

Quoting Stuart Lucas You've been busy Bob! Lots of detail, the hangar is nicely built too with a lot going on. Just one point to note, this a fighter and therefore used for air defense, not offense. Good stuff though!
Whoops, I copied the intro from my tank and just changed every word that said "tank" to "plane". Guess I missed that. Thanks!
