Ambrae
A banished Toa finds a purpose again.
About this creation
"It was justified," Ambrae said. After all, they did kill her brother.
She had murdered them all. Ten Makuta, uselessly pillaging a harmless little settlement. She killed them without mercy. And she was banished for it. Sent to wander the universe for an eternity until death could creep it's cold icy hand into her fiery heart. Until...
Amid her travels she came across a galaxy where there existed beings, not unlike herself. Where Toa carried different names, and were built when the people needed help. The place where these "Heros" were built was called Hero Factory. Having come across these extraordinary people, she stopped for a bit, to see their way of life. But she was not the only one who was curious about the new found life. The people of Makuhero City were curious about her, and the Hero Factory saw their opportunity. When asked if she wished to join their quest for peace, Ambrae agreed seeing that she could once again prove to be useful.
Now that the banished Toa had found a new purpose, she lived once again for the protection of the people, fighting alongside the Heros to defend the universe.

The flamethrower. Simple, but effective.

Comparison with Ogrum.

Oh... Fudgeit.

I suppose that is what I get for using a villain for comparison...

Comparison with Malia.

Comparison with Mags.

Riding high.

And that's all.

Creator's Comments: Wooooooowwww, I am strangely happy with this one. Didn't even really start like this, this was more an accident than anything. Pretty happy with the results though, like I said.
This one started because I got Furno XL, Orgum, and Breeze from the latest series on a momentary splurge, and I wanted to use the pieces. While I probably should've been a bit more creative with this, I haven't really had the time, nor the inspiration. I do kinda like that I made it female though, and I tried to get that part right. Not sure I did so well, considering it was supposed to be a bulky/armored looking female, but oh well.
And yeah, the story was a pathetic way to try to make up for putting in both a heartlight, and a hero factory stamp. Sue me.
Haven't really got much to say today, haven't got time. Tell me what y'all think.

That's all. Carry on.

Insane job! I love this! Just a quick question: Could I please borrow Mags's body design for the entry round of the EBC, if possible?

As you say, Ambrae looks exactly like a mere excuse to use the new parts. I can see in her many repeated designs (weapon, legs) and some that could be better (elbows). Even if it's a build far away from anything I could get, I'm not sure if I like it... I'm pretty interesting, however, in the torso design, or at least, the heartlight, the skirt and the back. Also, the flamethrower is awesome. To sum up, for a 'tablescrap/quickbuild' is great, but for your new regular style, I find it very poor, dear. Sorry. (P.S: since she got her new head, now I'm pretty interested on Malia. I demand a page for her and Maggs!)

Oh man, this is awesome! The armor placement is very nice and flows almost perfectly. Also, I like that it's a female character but it's not exagerated at all like most fem creations tend to be, props for that!

My favorite part would be how well you armored her. Most people find it difficult to armor a Fe-MOC an make it look feminine enough. Nice job.

The elongated body and webbed feet give this an amphibious feel, something like a big old newt. Interesting.

Great use of colour, with red highlights over the grey. The thing that stands out to me are red knee pads, which remind me of the knee pads that you see soliders wearing in Afghanistan today.

Quoting Max W. It looks like a combination of a male 90's hip hop dancer and a ninja. Dem pants/skirts. I like it a lot, seeing mocs that aren't broad-shouldered or freakishly skinny/malformed is always nice.
Fair assessment there lol. Thanks Max :)

Quoting Kali Church Very nice. For some reason, I like Furno's first helmet. Kinda reminded me of the Master Chief from Halo.
Having never played Halo, I don't really know what you are talking about. Thanks though.

Thank you. I dislike it when people overly exaggerate proportions like that, so I tried not to. Glad someone appreciated it! :D
