In the north of the land of Asmon a new power is rising. The orcs who survived the great purge have regrouped and are are gathering under the command of the great war chief and mage, Ushnack. Also, banished men from the east are joining under one banner: the black falcon. Both these huge armies are moving north to the badlands, where the Necromancer Arcannon is waiting and gathering an army to bring down the Crown for once and for all.
The tower of Mudan was the home of the first Necromancer, but was destroyed by the elves. A watch tower was built to keep an eye on the trolls and make sure that the tower wasn't reoccupied. However, the watch tower was destroyed during the second goblin war and evil slowly moved back to the north of Asmon

The road leading to the tower has the heads of the Necromancers enemy's on either side. Arcannon also wants an elf head, but they are proving to be hard to come by.
The tower is built in the grounds of an ancient elven watch tower and fortress. These ruins are all that remain.
