LCC - The Battle of Castle Darhor
A free build for the LCC. Story: Erathor and his men arrived at Castle Darhor early in the morning, in hope of suprising the Lenfels. As they came to the castle with it's huge tower and wall, however, Erathor saw that the Lenfels were lined up outside, waiting for them. All the Loreesi lined up, only a few metres away from the Lenfels. There was a dead silence. Nobody moved. Out of the corner of his eye, Erathor saw some men bustling about on the wall, trying to join the rest of their army. Realising that they had probably been stationed there in case of an attack with ladders, Erathor wanted to begin the fight before they could rejoin and reinforce the Lenfels. " Men of Loreos!" he shouted, "now to war and to victory! FOR THE GLORY OF LOREOS!" The men charged forward, as did the enemy. They fought bravely, as was expected, but many good men were killed. Erathor thrust here and cut there, Shard flashing in his hands. As the battle was reaching it's height, a cry came from the Lenfels nearest to the tower. Looking over, Erathor saw a group of men charging into the enemy soldiers. Mivolar and his outlaws had joined the fight! The Loreesi fought with renewed vigour, and the men of Lenfald were clearly losing the fight. When the battle was over, Erathor looked over the field. Soldiers comforted wounded friends or mourned the dead. A groan of pain came to Erathor's ears. Mivolar was lying in the ground, part of a sword blade embedded in his side. "Why did you help us?" Erathor asked, as he tried to remove the blade. It was no use. "I had a debt that needed to be paid. I saw your loyalty to Loreos, and I chose to help you in this ill-fated war." "What was your debt? I think I recognise you." "You do?" Mivolar's face twisted in agony. "I am not suprised. Most men would recognise the one who killed their father." Erathor felt sick. The noise of his men attacking the Lenfels on the walls couldn't be heard. "Why?" he asked. " You may have helped me win this castle, but you took my father's life from me. Why?" Mivolar gave a grim smile. "I am an outlaw." he said. "Your father stopped me, and we fought. It could have gone the other way." Erathor bowed his head, fighting to remain calm, but when he looked up again Mivolar was dead. He would have a proper burial, for he helped Loreos in the end. Erathor stood on the tower with Allaeus, the red and gold banner fluttering next to them. At last, he thought, Castle Darhor was his, and, for now, he would fight no more. This was really fun yet quite tricky to build, and I'm very pleased to have included a curved tower. I seem to have been hammering out a lot of MOCs lately, but most of them had parts ready beforehand. This is almost definately my last build of the war. For the glory of Loreos!
About this creation

I took photos showing different stages of the battle.

Outlaws! Reinforcements!

I do like the curved tower technique, I think I'll use it more often!

For the glory of Loreos!

Thanks! Yeah, I see what you mean, but they were meant to be lined up. There are quite a few things I would now change ;)
