Category: Act of Valor

No not the movie literally
an act of valor something
you have done in your own
life or something you have
seen someone do. (it can
be anything you have seen
in movies or otherwise like
A team of navy seals taking
a location or a boy just
helping a lady across the street)

To the story! (Which, as a matter of fact, is true)

Now the great lords over the lands sneered as they passed by, saying, "If he is the son of God then let him come down from the cross and save himself."

And he, bearing his cross, went out to a place called "the Place of a Skull" which is in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they crucified him, and two others with him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. Now Pilate wrote a Title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH KING OF THE JEWS. and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.

Now the Tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. they said therefore among themselves, "Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be," that the scripture might be fulfilled which says: "They divided my garments amongst them, and for my clothing they cast lots."

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and his mother's sister, the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdelene.

When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son! The he said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed him Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and Us."

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."

And Jesus said unto him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

After this, Jesus, knowing that all these things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, " I thirst!" and he spoke, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?"

Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.

So when Jesus had recieved the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up his spirit.

Then, Behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked,

and the rocks were split.

So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous Man!"

Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain of the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.

But when they came to Jesus and saw he was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. For these things were done so that the Scripture should be fulfilled, "Not one of His bones shall be broken."

After this, Joseph of Arimathera, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus.

Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.

So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews' Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby.

So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard.

And behold there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.

My Savior Lives!

---Whew, that took a while. Onto some pictures the build.---

The whole build.

The path, which caused me to tear down the whole thing three days into building it. ( I had curved it to soon, and without a ladder there was no way on top of the cliff)

The crucifixion grounds.

Artistic shot down the path.

Playability function!

You can barely see that they're flying off here.

I set them up to look how they would half way through the explosion if I had recorded it with my eyes. :P

The lever which catapults them into the air.

The tomb.

Press this button,

and the front lights up. :) (For when Jesus Resurrects)

My favorite corner. :)

Rocks holding up the crosses. They make the build look more real, to me. :D

Half grown olive trees.

Another artistic shot.

Full grown olive tree, I'm quite proud.

Ariel view.

Figures.

Gandalf, Son of Peppy, (Zwei) Daughter of Dinah, bids you farewell, and a good day.

Hope You Enjoyed! Thanks For Looking!
Soli Deo Gloria!

Thank you, though I don't think I will ever have enough for anything of the scale you have just done. The cost for driving insurance on a 17 yr old is simply terrible(then theres car and gas cost)... ;] But I am happy enough with my building for now. Good luck on your future contests. I am sure you will win more, my friend.

Quoting kaeleb appleyard im sorry but your opponent gets my vote ( I just don't understand this ){ im not religious I don't believe in god and I never had scripture as a kid }
Well, Kaeleb, I hope you get to know him, he's a wonderful being. I'll give you a background story: God sent his only son to earth to die for our sins, and Jesus could have said no, and let us all die. But he willingly gave up his life to save ours. Since he died with no sin, he arose from the dead, and he offers forgiveness for all our sins. :) Thanks for judging.
