does it shoot?
It does. You just have to pump first, load a clip, and then you can just shoot, pump, shoot, pump...
if the magazine is empty you pump once again, exchange the clip, and then fun starts anew. |

Ok, time to comment the discussion myself. when I was a kid I did build those cities or castles or dinosaurs or whatever. Now I've just grown older and those things aren't that interesting anymore. Now I prefer building complex mechanics rather than static constructs. If you have something with its own power source that you don't have to power yourself, then it's even more fun (motors, springs, rubberbands, etc...). And the things you see on my page are creations that many of my friends thought they wouldn't be possible to build with lego. It was the challenge to make something complex like a gun that not many did master sofar, nothing more. By the way, I'm born in the 1980's, so still building spaceships would also be weird, don't you think? |

This is an interesting project, I might have to try something like this. The slide mechanism combined with an elastic loading clip really shines. To the other comments: I don't think there has ever been a time when Lego wasn't used to build weapons of war. |

MOC of the day! This is excellent. I wish I knew how the clip goes on (hint, hint, more pics, hint hint...). Anyways, great job. I wonder how accurate it is, though.... |

Decent design.
However, I must say that I am really tired of people wasting thier time building weapons out of a once-inocent toy. What ever happened to colorful towns inhabited by little yellow people with smiley faces???
You clearly are a pretty good builder, but, if I may, I would suggest that you give a try at building other things (castles, space ships, ect..)
However, this is just my opinion. I'm sure 90% of the folks on MOCpages disagree with me, but that's ok. |
