Another MOC to add to my Garden story.
About this creation
From the ashes of several MOC-blocks and a number of life issues, comes another MOC from me. W00t. Photography sucks as usual, but oh well. Here we go.

So, this guy is the first in a line of characters that I'll be attempting to make as time goes on. I doubt that anyone remembers, nor cares, from my story, but in the story of the Garden, there was a group of individuals called the Counselors who led each tribe of the Garden. This guy, is the first in that group.

Adimun, Counselor of the Stones

"Adimun. Wise and powerful Counselor of the Stone tribe. A brilliant thinker and strategist, as well as one heck of a gambler. While his cumber size and strength suggest he is a warrior, he much prefers not to used his well honed fighting skills with his metal gauntlet, choosing instead to out wit his opponents with his wise mind and strategic view. I pity the fool that should cross him in anything, especially a game of RiQ'aa!"

Adimun shook his head, clouds of dust and silt shaking off of it as he did. A mist of dust settled to the ground slowly all around him, clouding his view of the rubble everywhere.
Adimun's head throbbed and he was slightly disoriented.
What... What happened?
Adimun ran through the last day in his mind. It had been a normal day in his little town at the base of the mountains, nothing out of the average, nothing wrong. Then the rock slide started.
Adimun closed his eyes and sighed. The rock slide. That was what had happened. He had been yelling and helping Matoran run from the avalanche of rocks when they tore through the buildings around and crashed into him. If Adimun were still a Toa, this would be no problem for him. He had been hit with much worse than a bunch of rocks before, but he didn't have the same strength he had then. He was a Turaga now. And he could hardly move his stiff and beaten body.
Slowly, Adimun made it feebly to his feet and steadied himself on his feet using his staff.
I suppose I should start looking for surviv- Adimun's thought was cut off by the crunch of a footstep nearby.
As fast as his old body would allow, Adimun spun around, looking for the source of the sound. It didn't take long to find it, as through the settling cloud of dust, Adimun could see a small body hobbling towards him.
As fast as his feet could carry him, Adimun ran over to the hobbling Matoran and knelt beside him.
"Are you ok?" he asked the Matoran.
The Matoran however, made no sounds in answer. No movements. Did nothing, in fact, to even acknowledge that Adimun was there other than stopping his hobbling walk forward.
"Hello-" Adimun's voice dropped off as the Matoran turned his cracked mask towards him.
The Matoran's bright crimson eyes burned inside his otherwise seemingly lifeless body.
"You..." Adimun choked out as the Matoran's red glare froze him with fear.
A sickly smile opened up on the Matoran's face and a deep, graveled laugh echoed from it.
Before Adimun could do anything, he felt what was seemingly a stone wall crash into his chest and the world around him went black. He could feel nothing. See nothing. He couldn't move. Couldn't breathe. And Adimun knew, without a doubt, that he was dead.

Adimun's eyes blinked a couple of times, adjusting to the stark bright white that surrounded him.
Adimun slowly sat up and looked around. All he could see was white. Pure, unbroken, white.
"Yup. I'm dead..." He muttered to himself.
"No you aren't." A voice called behind him.
Surprised, and slightly taken aback at the sound of the voice, Adimun jumped to his feet and spun around, looking for his staff to wield as a weapon. Adimun did not find his staff as he turned around though, instead he found a small white being with large emerald eyes sitting on the ground in front of him.
"Hello." The child smiled brightly at him.
Adimun stared blankly at the child, lacking understanding of what was happening.
"Are you lost?" The child asked, his voice clear and bright.
Adimun still stared, dumbfounded, but managed to nod weakly.
"Good." The child laughed as he stood to his feet, "I need your help."
The child then pointed back behind Adimun. Adimun turned, following the gaze of the child and saw far into the distance, a small green gap in the otherwise unbroken white surroundings.
Adimun turned back to question the child on what he meant, but the child was gone.
Confused and left without any other option, Adimun slowly trotted off towards the small green gap.
May as well see where it goes...

Two thousand years after his Calling, Adimun became the Counselor to the Stones. Upon entering the Garden, Adimun found his body had changed, and he was once again a powerful Toa. Still possessing the vigor of his youth, and the wisdom of his old age, Adimun used both to his advantage, and became one of the Garden's best warriors as well as best strategist. Well loved and well respected by his tribe, and the peoples of the others, Adimun found a true home in the Garden. A favorite activity of his is the luck/strategy game of RiQ'aa, (Rick-ay). Many have learned never to challenge him to a game in it, as while he succeeds greatly in strategy, it seems as though even luck is an ally of his.

So, yeah. Not up to my normal standards, but I figured I'd give y'all a break this time. Anyhoot, onward.

Nice frontal shot here.

His back.

The legs.

Detail on the front of the torso.

Detail on the back.

And now for some poses.

Height comparison with Malia. (Yeah, she's got some updates. She'll be getting more soon too, hopefully XD)

Height comparison with Mags.

Sitting pretty.

And that's the end folks!

Creator's Comments: So yeah. I imagine this guy slightly differently, but lack of pieces, know how and time kinda killed that one. Surprisingly happy with how the legs came out though, those were fun.
I can't imagine this guy will last much more than a week, assuming I get some inspiration and some time. I'm starting a new job, the timing for which is very varied and unusual, so what time isn't sucked away by finishing school and exams, is sucked away by that.
Not sure what I'll do next. Going into another MOC-block. -.-
And as always, I'm going to need some time to catch up. Especially today, since I'll be gone most of the day. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Anyway, thanks for looking :)

Oh yeah, and because I can. :P XD

Quoting L.A. Miranda Favourite part of Adimun, the story. I'm not saying the MOC is bad, but dear, I really liked the story <3 I love when writers came up with small details that conforms the bigger reality, in this case, the white child (please, say is Maggs. Pleeeeease *^*) About the MOC, I'm only going to say one thing bad about it: lack of brown. The small touches works very well, but for a Toa Adimun it has too few brown parts. Specially in the legs. The rest is absolutely great, I love the leg design (specially the lower part with the feet) and the upper torso, with those Metru chests and the Nuparu Mahri silver armor (I find funny that I recently tried to use it like that too, but it didn't work well for me. Meh). Magnificent job, my dear! (Also, glad that Malia has lost that horrible head design, now she's glorious <3).
I'm glad that someone reads the story XD I always kinda feel like I write stuff, and nobody reads them XD And hey, I can't give away anything ;) And yeah.... my muddy orange collection is this whole thing here. That's it. Because of that, I wanted it to look like he was wearing a suit of sorts, or extremely thick armor. Glad you like him though :) And yes, Malia now has a face :P

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) You know crazy me ... I see that mask and immediately get an urge to add bunny ears! But I do like its use here... fits the character's personality from the story. I am always amazed at how you can build a muscular body and still have it look lithe! But... those pointed European-designer-men's shoes, I will be honest here, just don't work for him. I think it is that angled foot against the curves in the lower leg? Yet, all in all, I like him! :)
Somehow Topsy, I don't think bunny ears would compliment this guy very well XD Love the point you made though about the "shoes", they do seem very much like that. I do suppose I'll have to fix that if this guy last long enough. Thanks Topsy! :)

Quoting [ Chro ] Yeah, you were really close... but you have the Kalmah armor piece backwards... ;D
Lol, do I really? Hmmmm. It seems I do. Oh well. I like it this way better XD

Quoting Max W. On another note, you've used those two Rodans in the past 3 bio-mocs you've posted.
The Rode is indeed a great mask for using on armor. :P
Exactly XD By the by, I don't think I need instructions for the head. I got a basic idea, (as you can see) and even if I don't have it exactly, oh well :P I will be using it in the future though, I can tell you that much XD

This is wonderful(much better than what I could do.) I only would say that you should include more orange(or is that brown?) in his legs and chest.

Coolio. The only problem I have is he doesn't really look like a Toa of Stone to me. Maybe if you replaced some of the silver with more black or burnt orange, then he'd be perfect. I like the left arm.

It looks like a Turaga using a great big mechanical Exo-Toa, due to the overwhelming amounts of silver. The build looks great, but I think those Rodes on his legs are out of place, they make the legs look a little chunky. Malia looks good(glad to see SOMEONE has survived). I approve of all other details, it looks glorious 8)

Nice one Gale. I feel like disproportionately sized arms are becoming a thing... maybe I should try my shot at one.

I like how the proportions of this build work well. The orange head really catches the eye, without being distracting. I think that your photography is fine: especially the way that you pose your creations. That first photo, with Adimun looking straight at the viewer, grabs the attention and has lots of personality about it too.

This is an extremely well textured and proportioned build. Greeble isn't over-delicate, so still retains rugged and strong appearance. Nice work, Gale!
