It's been tried before in real life with little success. You end up both with a carrier with not enough planes and an under armed battleship. Basically: "The two designs are essentially uncompatible. A combined design would feature the worst of both worlds with few of the benefits. A BCV would bring the exposed fragility of a CV to the most brutal place in naval warfare, the battle line, totally giving up the range advantages of it's wing. It would have a very limited capacity in a CV roll due to the need to carry around massive heavy artillery and enough protection to allow it to survive on the battle line. It is not a matter of cost so much as the incompatible operational requirements of the ship types."

Perhaps, *looks dead at McCall* a carrier with huge cannons is not a bad thing. Lets see you try to take out a carrier that actually fights back!

This is a very impressively sized ship, nice work. However, honestly, I think you should have just stuck with your Pegases, as this doesn't have as good of aesthetics, and the flaws of your previous carrier are only accentuated with this design.

Quoting Yapdap The Dictator Nice, it looks a little flat though.
It is a carrier, it is supposedly to be flat. Aircraft can't take off or land with a bumpy deck.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Yeah, I noticed that. Its a great MOC, but I was just saying that a Ski-Jump is not very friendly with a majority of American aircraft. Maybe you can place those weapons closer in front and behind the bridge. It would might require you to move those elevators, and may be a little harder on the deck crew, but it would allow you to install a CATOBAR. Just my opinion, really.
Matter in fact, the Judgement is 500m in length so i dont need a CATOBAR

The Bridge already has weapons which includes 3 20in Punisher Railgun next to the bridge. I did not raised the the top of the ship to accommodate other aircraft. And remember, this is also double as a battleship as well.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Love it! Now, the only concern I have (since below there was someone going on about practicality and whatnot) is that a ski-jump limits the types of aircraft you can carry. With a ski-jump, some aircraft such as the Hornet, Super Hornet, Hawkeye, Greyhound, Viking, and, if you want to include it, the Tomcat, can not take off from a jump, as I believe they require a CATOBAR arrangement. Therefore, you carrier must carry either, or a combination of, the F-35 and Harrier. Anyways, excellent MOC! Massive as well! 5/5
The reasion for the Ski slope is because I don't want aircraft hitting the guns at the front of the ship.

The mix between aircraft carrier and battleship is very formidable! You should make a creation of a Carrier Battle Group with this ship, a few cruisers, several destroyers and some subs.

Quoting Zach Eli "Sierra" Sykes I see you removed the ski jump on the other ship. I think this one is a bit off too but unlike the other ship, still necesary to prevent aircraft from plowing into your forward cannons. ITAC member to ITAC member, shoot me the file and I might be able to help. I find the golden ratio here to be 6-8 studs long to 1 brick high. Email if ur interested in ITAC help: Zmackme14@yahoo.com
