About this creation
Engine 2-12, a 2003 Pierce Dash, is quartered at Station 2 in Washington Heights. It responds first due out of the station. It carries vehicle extrication gear, BLS medical equipment, the basic engine company equipment, as well as a few truck company tools such as saws, pikes, and a chimney bucket. This rig boasts a 1750 gallon per minute pump, a 1000 gallon water tank, and 60 gallons of foam (30A/30B). Engine 2-12 sports the departments color scheme and features all LED warning lights. Other warning devices include a Federal Q2B and Grover air horns. There is a 12" raised roof, and spot lights mounted on the front cab. The cab seats six firefighters and is air conditioned. There is a chrome deck gun and compartments near the pump panel. In the rear, there is an arrow stick, compartment for the internal ladder storage, a discharge, and steps up to the hose bed. There will eventually be a forestry quartered with this unit.
