it reminds me of the sentinels from the matrix, the piercing red eyes amidst a black body

Love it! but the legs/feet could use more meat, now it looks ridiculous with the shells supporting all that body mass... Still, looks down-right amazing!

That's AMAZING. The use of the pieces to make the shell is a great idea :D Can't wait to see more of these!

I'm not sure that it should be possible to build something as dark and sinister as this MOC from happy, colourful Lego. Brilliant building skills and imagination. The glowing red eyes really set the whole thing off and the smooth covering on top (inside out tyre?) looks suitably leathery.

Awesome! A very scary creation. I might have a hard time sleeping tonight. Blogged on BrickEnd: http://brickend.blogspot.com/2013/05/dreamstalker-by-brian-kescenovitz.html

Quoting Keith Goldman You don't want to dance with this broad without steel-toed boots or you'll end up with broken toes. Seriously BK, what is going on with the feet? The top is so perfectly evil and then you get to the armored footwear. You're a strange one, and whatnot.
The armored feet were inspired by Kelso’s special orthopedic shoes, seen here… http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/100922

Quoting Mark Kelso No, THIS is fuel for my nightmares: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151195676400465&set=t.704250754&type=3&theater The MOC is simply another brilliant creation in your never-ending line of Lego badascery.
Man, now that guy really IS the stuff dreams are made of...

Quoting Matt Hanson Guy 1 (at some party on a planet near LV427): So we was all hammered, right. Joe looks over and sees this face hugger, stumbl'n on it's multiple legs cuz it just got into the keg. Guy 2: That works? Guy 1: Yeah, if you paint a face on it. Duh. So anyway, it wobbles over to Ned's chopper, and we was all like 'no way! He's not gonna do it, is he?' Sho nuf, he flies through the air - about ten feet - dang near misses, lands on this fat tire and latches on! We couldn't believe it! Guy 2: So what happened after that? Guy 1: It fell off about ten minutes later. We didn't think much of it. Next day we was all waking up and Joe turns on the news and we see this giant alien thing, been destroy'n half the city, kill'n hundreds. Guy 2: (...) No way. Guy 1: Here's the best part. My wife walks in as we're watch'n the news, sees it and says 'The heck is that?! Look like an alien mated with a tire!' We all just bust up laugh'n!
LOL...nice one.

Brilliant work, Brian. I am always looking forward to your next work. This one is just pure evil. I don't even know what piece your using across the top of the head, but whatever it is, it gives the work a certain chitinous look that can only come from a restless night of sleep after spending too many hours in the insect house at the zoo. Very well done. Can't wait to see what's next.

Simple, Sinister, and disturbingly organic, all at once. Looks like something you'd spot under a microscope, at the edge of a cancerous cell... ewww.... (nice work!)

Disturbing. But it has a lot of good techniques involved. I'd like to use one in particular. The Rahkshi back with the blade.

Quoting L.A. Miranda MAGNIFICIENT! This creation is just the style I love, with very intelligent 'illegal' uses of parts! Those legs made me fall in love. And that rubber part... I can't identify what it is, but great use of it anyways, dear =P
The rubber part is one of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=45982 turned inside out.

Quoting Michael Rutherford When it walks I bet it sounds like: Clunk clunk clunk. That use of rubber on the dorsal surface is really slick! What part is that "Face". Two little red dots? What the heck part is that? Attack!
The face is one of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=53543 with a couple of trans orange antenna stuck through the holes, and two black minifig visors attached. So, Mike, The Gold Man has returned, eh? There goes the neighborhood...;-)

That IS creepy! Malevolent and slug-like at once, like something that slimes its way into your dreams and corrupts all. Is that a giant tire for its carapace? Brilliant!
