The SK-105 Skyraider is a 6th generation close air support craft. It features STOVL technology allowing it to vertically take off and land, as well as hover in position making it a deadly airborne weapons platform. The Skyraider features forward swept wings and canards to drastically improve low speed maneuverability and its twin thrust vectoring engines give it supermaneuverability at hight speeds as well. The Skyraider is fully stealth capable and along with its internally stored rack of heat seeking air-to-air missiles, it can wingload vast amounts of anti tank missiles, bombs, rocket pods, additional heat seekers, or fuel pods to increase it's range. It also features a similar countermeasure system to the Razorcat, which directs simple heat seeking weaponry back at its opponents, which comes in handy for avoiding stingers and HS tank shells. As icing on the cake, the Skyraider has 2 forward mounted M71 30mm gatling guns to deal some hefty punishment to light armored vehicles.
This fighter looks excellent, esspecially since it share so much in common with your firebird. Anyways, I was under the impressiont that aircraft with forward-swept wings were less stealthy than other shapes, but I'm willing to concede that this isn't neccasarily true.
