Rc Tumbler Batmobile
Rc Tumbler Batmobile Technic Version in progress
About this creation
Rc Tumbler Batmobile in Technic Form

If you've seen my previous page for the Techinic Tumbler, I will adapt this Technic version into a fully remote control technic version. Now I'm perfecting the steering to ensure a more stable and straight steer. The front suspension is ok but this tumbler won't be ready to jump just yet.

Here Are some pictures. At first the steering was quickly put together roughly to figure out the space and distance of the mechanics to make it move and steer. Then double spring suspension is added to hold the front up for weight. Then repeat the same construction on both sides to try out its feasability. I found it was too wobbly due to the front tires not perfectly flat. Also those tires were very heavy so a stronger front steering arm need to be utilize. Working on that part now.

Save this link and check back for more pictures! Questions, comments and tips are more than welcome.

@ lego bodgers: it is a receiver/steering unit that can be found in 8376, 8475 and 8366. The units in the latter two have an auxilary output which can be controlled by paddles on the back of the remote.

Hey, great MOC. I was just wondering what set the large RC piece that you are using as the base for this model came from. Again, great MOC you've inspired me to try my own.

I would so buy this! I made a fairly large scale version of the Tumbler myself but I wasn't able to crack the steering. Awesome job bro!
