2013 WEBBSTER-SHELL PICKUP TRUCK
WEBBSTER-SHELL PROUDLY PRESENTS THE ALL-NEW 2013 PICKUP TRUCK. WEBBSTER RECENTLY FORCED BANKRUPT SHELL COMPANY WHICH THEY NOW OWN TO DO A DECENT VEHICLE. SHELL SCRAMBLED RESOURCES AND ITS SCARCE LEGO PARTS TO BUILD A PICKUP TRUCK FOR WEBBSTER. THE TRUCK HOPEFULLY BRINGS BACK THE VIEWS AND COMMENTS. UNFORTUNATELY THE NEW TRUCK WAS BUILT AT A LOW COST BY USING 'QUESTIONABLE' LEGO BUILDING TECHNIQUES AND HIGHLY CUSTOMIZED PARTS.
About this creation

THE ALL-NEW WEBBSTER-SHELL PICKUP TRUCK IS RADICAL LOOKING AND UNLIKE ANYTHING SEEN BEFORE IN MOCPAGES.

THE TRUCK HAS THE 'WEBBSTER' EMBLEMS INSTEAD OF 'SHELL' SINCE IT WAS MANUFACTURED BY SHELL FOR ITS NEW OWNER WEBBSTER.

THE TRUCK HAS A NEW ENGINE AND A FULLY OPENING HOOD. A NICE TOUCH WAS THE WEBBSTER EMBLEM WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE HOOD.

THE BACK OF THE TRUCK FULLY OPENS ALSO. THIS WAS DONE BY USING A LEGO CAR ROOF AS THE BASE OF THE PICKUP BED. THIS IDEA PREVENTED THE USE OF 'COSTLY' LEGO BRICK HINGES.

THE TRUCK FRAME WAS BUILT SEPARATELY FROM THE CHEAP CUSTOM-MADE BASE. THIS PREVENTED THE USE OF A 'COSTLY' LEGO BASE.

THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY WAS ALSO CUSTOM-MADE RATHER THAN USING 'COSTLY' LEGO WHEELS.

THE CLASSICAL LEGO TIRE IS ATTACHED TO THE 'CUSTOM' WHEEL.

IT DOES WORK BELIEVE ME.

THE FRAME OF THE TRUCK MAKES USE OF 'CHEAP' LEGO PLATES INSTEAD OF STRONGER 'COSTLY' LEGO BRICKS. HERE YOU CAN SEE THE TRUCK BOX WITHOUT THE WALL. THE WALL IS ACTUALLY AN ATTACHED LEGO PLATE. THE PLATE CONSISTS OF TWO PIECES 'GLUED' TOGETHER BY A CRYSTAL LEGO 'GLUE' PIECE.

THE FRONT BUMPER OF THE TRUCK WAS VERY CHEAP TO MAKE ALSO. TWO LEGO PLATES ATTACHED TOGETHER AND THEN 'ATTACHED' TO TWO LEGO HOOKS.

THIS ARE VERY UNORTHODOX AND UNSAFE LEGO BUILDING TECHNIQUES.

THE BACK BUMPER ALSO MAKES USE OF 'QUESTIONABLE' LEGO BUILDING TECHNIQUES.

HERE YOU CAN BETTER APPRECIATED THE LACK OF LEGO BRICKS IN THE HOOD AREA. THE FRAME IS MADE OF LEGO PLATES SO THEY 'LOOK' LIKE BRICKS. THE SAFETY OF THE TRUCK IS VERY QUESTIONABLE. CRASH TESTS RESULTS ARE 'EMBARRASING' AND WILL BE POSTED SOON!!

THE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY WAS ALSO CUSTOM MADE TO AVOID BUYING 'COSTLY' LEGO STEERING WHEELS.

THE COMPLICATED ASSEMBLY PROCESS.

THE CHEAP CUSTOM-MADE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY.
