USS Sulaco - WIP-01
There's not much to say about a ship everybody knows... ;-) But for those who don't know it: The USS SULACO - a spaceship from the movie Alien II.
About this creation
After i moved and dismantle the first Version - i went back to the drawing board...

And here it is what i want to go with =>
I flipped the bricks from sideway to up and down, which is stronger for the length i plan to do.
At the end it will be ca. 170 studs (~133cm) long.

That's the way i use to get the right proportions. Find a good picture from different sides, paint a grid over it and measure, measure, measure...

I hope you like it so far ;-) - ?
Criticism is as always welcome ;-) !

Quoting f-22 raptor You've got a really strong frame going there that looks to be in proportion. I can't wait to see a picture of it with the Nostromo!
Thank you ;-) Unfortunately this isn't possible, because i had to dismantle the Nostromo - I need the parts...

Quoting David Alexander Smith Great internal structure. these type of shots are actually really helpful to me. Maybe time for me to revisit micro-space building?
You are welcome ;-) No - you don't have to, but you can. I like these technic-grids in 2 ways: they are strong and you have nice opportunities for SNOT-work.

Quoting Nick Barrett A good and sturdy structure - I'm sure yours are among the strongest of big spaceships. It might even be 'swooshable' :-)... Can't wait.
Thank you Nick! - i like it strong ;-) so that it gets maybe "swooshable"...

Quoting matt rowntree I thought you had a good atart before, but this looks much stronger. Great diagrams to go off. Good luck! Can't wait.
Thank you! I also thought that... But to hang it up on two points; it was to weak in the middle. Good reference material is gold worth ;-)
