ever since I saw the first sneak peak pics of this set last autumn I knew I will get it. It seemed good news that Lego has made a follow of the epic good 5867 set. these both are from the same price and piece count category. my first impression after getting introduced to inventory- oh now, i dont like the wheel attachment that it s done with a single long axis and then the chasis with two large technic bricks, that seemed limiting the possibilities of tire base for possible alternates. the rest of available pieces I find ok, a wast amount of the main color white bricks and then some slices of other colors- basically a nice material to work with.
ok. so here s my first at spinning some stuff from this set's bricks.
I think both models very well have succeeded. I think it's a beautiful design, much sportier than the original set. Well done!

Great to see you posting again. This is a fantastic alt. with your characteristic angles and building style. The rear end is excellent. I agree with your review of this set - it is a great set but difficult to make alternatives from. I cant wait to see what you come up with next
