Tempest-Class Mech
Well, hello peoples! Its been quite a while since my last post; so sorry to have been so inactive for such a very long time. This project was actually finished about a month ago, but I have been constantly interrupted by various distractions of greater importance (basically means I've been too lazy.) I took so long in posting this I took some photos of the deconstruction. On a happier note, this mech was really quite fun to make; it challenged me to use all sorts of new and often difficult building techniques and such. But enough talk. On with the MOC!
About this creation

Just some random shots.

Combination guided-missile/rocket launcher.

M-2.1 Railguns. They fire heavy steel rods at 4,700 mph, so don't get in the way :)

High-recoil cannons that fire penetration rounds.

MRK-7 Vulcan Gatling Cannon.

Complete minifigure inside the cockpit! Party time folks!

Just a size comparison.

Final shot with my sig-fig/buddy icon.

Now, a lot of credit goes to Tim C's Armageddon Walker. And when I mean lots, I mean LOTS. That monster mech of his inspired me to build a similar walker, and provided me with plenty of ideas and examples to follow. I basically stole the the head design of Tim's walker, as well as some sections in the cockpit. The legs on the Armageddon Walker really helped me a lot, especially cause I never know what greebles/details work best for the feet and how to incorporate them into the rest of the build. So a big THANK YOU goes to Tim C! But Anyways, thanks for viewing, and be sure to leave a comment! God Bless!

Quoting David the Fire Ninja Jedi Those greebles just make this Mech BOSS! I'd feel safe in there XD. The size and look are just awesome! Great job! (sorry I missed seeing this when it was first posted)
Hah, I'd feel safe in there too, not to mention a bit dangerous... Thanks David!

Quoting David Roberts So many greebles! There's so much to catch the eye. I spotted the big engine parts, sideways on from how folk normally use them, at the back of the mech. I like how this mech has the classic look from the old Mech Warriors game of the 1990's.
Thanks David! Yeah I didn't really know how to fill in that huge gaping hole in the head section, so I used those engines.

Quoting Freeling ++ Dude! Nice greebles! The head is a bit squared though. Is that for a reason?
Thanks Freeling! Uh, not especially... I think I just like it square... haha.

Quoting Matthew Sylvan Thank you for all your kind comments! I viewed some of your Mocs too and I'm in love with your greeble techniques. You are the master of greebles. I have an upcoming mech too but it is far from this size. It's a medium sized mech but you will see it now if I upload it.
Thanks Matthew! Yeah, greebles are fun to use :) And yes, I'll be keeping an eye open for any releases from you.

Quoting Tim C Wow, Matthew! Check that guy out. I really like how he turned out. The head looks great, and I like your take on the weaponry on the sides of the head. I think that your biggest victory here is the legs. Very bulky, which is the look that I like the most when it comes to battlemechs like this. I see that you pulled a little inspiration from Jason's Warlord as well. Especially in that red eye in the front. Isn't that a sweet build? Thanks for the name check here, Matthew, but it looks to me like you made this one enough your own to take the credit. Great work, Matthew. I can't wait to see what's next for you.
Thanks Tim! Yeah, those legs gave me a lot of trouble, but I'm glad they turned out right. Well, I'm rather too busy to build much, but it looks like the next project will be (no surprise) something similar to your Galaxus. I really can't stop copying all your builds can I :D?

Quoting David Alexander Smith I think posting on the last day of the MocAthalon probably dented the amount of attention you received. It's a great build, so don't worry too much about the likes.
Ah, I see... That makes sense. I guess I might as well keep it. Takes too long to repost anyways :) Thanks again.
