17. In the Inn.
Build an inn set in a medieval fantasy world. Think "Prancing Pony." This can be just an interior, or you can build the whole thing.
In the high mountains of the Lion kingdom there is a dangerous road. Set among the mountain's crags and precipices, this route is not for the soft-hearted. No, only the hardiest travelers use this treacherous trail - for tales tell of travelers falling to their deaths, being crushed by avalanches of rock and ice, and even eaten my mountain trolls.
But in reality, the fear this road inflicts is uncalled for. There are not trolls, and the road itself is not so bad - But it is cold. Still, it provides a good short cut for those restrained by time.
Though getting caught in a blizzard or darkness can be a problem. Braving the mountains in such conditions is unwise, but luckily for those otherwise unfortunate travelers, there is one safe resting spot - the Mountain Tavern. Due to the aged stone walls and unmarked, heavy wooden doors, this inn appears uninviting.
But once inside, the weary traveller is much relieved to find the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Hot food and rich wines are abundant, and merriness is plentiful. Now this is the place for a seasoned warrior to forget his troubles in good company!
Looking through the entries for this category, there seemed to be a lot of builds with epic exteriors, but no interiors. I thought that maybe if I build both, I might be able to up my scores :)
And yeah, sorry about some of the sub-par images :/
