Great fun, like a big, grey ladybird with legs and a trunk: the name is so appropriate.

just a crater baseplate and a few rocks would have done wonders here, but, the mech is cool!

Quoting Justin Knelsen Haha very creative walker! Im lovin that cockpit.
The cockpit is little more than a box, but somehow seemed just right.

Quoting Senator Chinchilla . Very nice, and I get the sense from the comments there's more to it than meets the eye.
It might be a phallic war machine, but then again...

Quoting Nick Barrett Stuff like this just happening must mean a very fertile mind. Brick on!
The happening of random pieces landing on the table together - as simple as that.

Quoting Eric Landreneau Makes me think of an alien creature Wayne Barlowe would have painted in "Expedition." Like a cross between his bladderhorn and sac-back creatures. http://waynebarlowe.wordpress.com/artwork/expedition/
Thanks for the link, I love some of those images.

Quoting matt rowntree Good grief David! Your mind references images I haven't seen in years. Ernst in the de Chirico, Dada style applied to Classic Space? The word genious is NOT adequate enough to describe what your doing in Lego. Out of curiosity, is it your intention to ravage the minds of the Art-deprived world through such an accessible, utilitarian toy? If so, TEACH ON!!! =) BTW, does the walker have a cute little tail for other walkers to hold to in a line?
I think I just have very wide interests and they all sort of merge together when I start the creative process. It was LEGO that led me to art, and now I've rediscovered LEGO, art naturally feeds back into what I'm doing.

Quoting JWG 258 This is one of the most creative things in classic space. It reminds me of this strange elephant video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyafZmZjSOY
That's one strange video.

Quoting A Sargent Haha! I like it! The design is really unique, and I think that the details you managed to squeeze into a MOC so small is incredible! Great job!
He was just a little bit of fun on the side, roughly based on this famous Max Ernst painting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elephant_Celebes.
