Ides of March
#27 Ides of March, MocAthalon 2013. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away...
About this creation

//Begin Transmission//

Jedi Master Kae Czar was ambitious and one of the strongest in the Jedi Order. He had a masterful grip of the force and used it to its full potential while still remaining in the light.

Completing numerous missions with his apprentice Brutos, Kae Czar became the greatest Jedi of the Order and when the time came, he was elected Grand Master by the council. At first, Kae Czar continued to do as the Jedi had always done but soon became hungry for more.

Using his newfound authority, Czar waged war on enemies of the Republic, expanding its borders beyond what it had ever been before. Jedi Grand Master had brought peace to the Galaxy, uniting the known planets under one banner.

Kae Czar began to become obsessed with the power he wielded and chose to reject former rules of the Jedi Order by taking on a wife to continue his line.

Brutos and several others in the council, including friends of Kae Czar, began to resent the Grand Master’s arrogance.

So, on a day set for a meeting of the Jedi Council, Kae Czar’s wife, gifted in the use of foresight, begged him not to attend because she had seen the malice growing steadily in the hearts of Czar’s former supporters.

And so, when Master Czar arrived at the council...

Having refused his wife’s council, Kae Czar was murdered by members of his own assembly. Brutos was among them, and it was he who struck the killing blow to his former Master, ending Grand Master Kae Czar’s supremacy and hopes for a lasting lineage forever.

Thanks for looking at this! I had a lot of fun making it and I hoped you enjoyed reading the story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
