The rare Wasjig Bird is known for its distinctive beak and its luscious flowing tail feathers. Here we see the Wasjig Bird contemplating its meal. The Wasjig Bird is unable to fly due to its tiny wings and oversized beak, so it spends its days contemplating abstract philosophical concepts and attempting to answer the big questions in the universe.
Some say the Wasjig Bird knows the meaning of life, but others point out that we will never know for sure. It can't speak, since it's a bird.
Breakdown and part inventory:
I put a focus on using obscure pieces and connecting them in ways that the pieces certainly weren't intended to connect by. Almost everything is held in place by friction, but once together the bird is quite stable. My favourite (or most despised) part of the MOC are the eyes, which took me almost an hour to get right, using tweezers to push the levers and rubber band (which ends up being tight to complicate matters) through the Hero Factory mask. Those pieces in the piece photo are actually duplicates, since I want to hang on to this MOC for a while but I knew that I really wouldn't enjoy attempting to reassemble the eyes.
I think Nick was wrong on this one. All about NPU and You have chosen some very unique pieces and gelled them together. Rubber band for eye whites? I mean who thinks of that?! 5 easy points here. This should have been a perfect. ~Thoy
