After many months of preparation and planning, King Walter De Bolbec leads his trustworthy infantry of men to fight off the soon coming storm of Northerners.

About this creation
After two months of planning and building, it's finally done. I feel this project really took my skills to the next level and helped me in many ways.
A big thank you to everyone who followed the making of this and to those who gave me advice. I'm not usually used to building at this scale so that was an interesting obstacle to over come as well.
Now that I have this done, it's time to start whippin' out builds for the MocAthalon.
I think this skipped the homepage completely... and I'm hardly surprised! Such a large MOC with so many excellent components. I love the huge, rolling landscape, it really gives a great wild medieval feel. The castle is well-designed of course, but like Paul said it's quite refreshing that you put the focus on the terrain. The waterfall in the back and dispersed buildings just top this one off for a really, really fantastic creation. Well-done!!
Amazing! I must say that again, my friend. This is amazing, as usual, but this MOC has topped the limits of awesomeness! The look of the build is fantastic, and as usual, the foliage and buildings are brilliant. This MOC has captured every feel of a medieval, castle-like image! I love the details. Just seeing this makes me envy tour building skills. Superb job, my friend! ~Sarge
Awesome creation man! Definitely your biggest that I've seen from you (since November) :D Of course, the build is top-quality stuff! Awesome castle, awesome landscape :D I also like the tanish and brown building! Really well done! Fantastic!
I have to honest, I wouldn't have guessed to be yours from the thumbnail. This is much improved over some of your older mocs. Those houses are especially nice, and as a whole it is quite awesome. ;) Great work.
Finally decided to post, eh? This is awesome, it puts you on a way higher level than with whom you used to be. (Aka, a ton of people like me) The river is my favorite part, it's so awesome! Great work Justin!
