In the halls of Erebor, the day after Quest for a Beard 13. King Dain, Drainir Steelhelmet, and Skargim stood debating the next move.
About this creation


Skargim: We cannot let this continue! We must do something! My best friend was killed in that fight!



Dain: What would you have me do, young one? HM!? We do not have the numbers to stage a full scale war on these Goblins! Elves and Men are too busy with the affairs of the world!

Skargim: Then you let us die in here!

Dain: There is nothing else to do! I have--



Dain was interrupted by Drainir, who had remained silent throughout the argument.

Drainir: Send me! I will find someone who can help. I

Skagim interrupted him: I'm going too! My friends, Lothar and Liam R'Mala in Rivendell. They will help us!



Before Dain could object a Dwarf with a bloodied sword ran into the halls.

Dwarf: My Lord! The Orcs have returned!



Dain turned to Skargim and Drainir.

Dain: Go then! Take the secret passage out of the throne room. Bring whatever help you can!



The two left as Drainir and the Dwarf Warrior brandished their weapons and marched out.

Dain: We will see what these Orcs want.
