Corvette C3
Hey i have another car for you,a Corvette C3! This will most likely be the last Moc from me as a KFOL,unless i do the C1 i plan to build really quickly! I am really proud of this becuase of the many functions i incoporated into it! pop up headlights (that hide into the body really well! this is my favorite part!) opening hood, doors, and trunk, susspension and t-top, the trunk can store a spare tire and the roof (at the same time) with room to spare! the engine is as detailed as it could be with the limited room, and an opitional luggage rack, has 760 parts (763 with optional luggage rack) i hope you like it and have a nice day! (P.S. i ordered the parts for one of my LDD cars! and a Corvette C1, not from real)

Very nice! Lots of details and functionality for such a compact model. You should definatly buld it in bricks, to see if it all can work out right.

Quoting Alex B How was your birthday?
it was pretty good, i ate cake, got a bunch of parts (mostly for a car i built in LDD) and saw the Croods, i really liked the movie, it was really funny at a lot of parts i can't finish the car until i go to my granda's and get her gift, as BL didn't have anyone selling a brand new part i need

Quoting Alex B Happy 13th birthday! I had a great birthday. I ended up getting a new bike (http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/town/fitness/fx/7_2_fx/) what a surprise! And like I said I got money. Don't know if I'm going to buy an iPad with it or some lego set. Anyways, I went bowling with my family, and then went out to eat at this place! It was good! Then after we got home we had cake. What are we going to do about the KFOL group? Should we make a TFOL group? If so you make it. Hope you have a great day!! :)
Thanks! i don't think I'm going to make a tfol group, as the only reason i made the KFOL was that there were no active ones. I'm glad you had a good B-day, and boy that is an expensive bike you got...

Quoting Loek Marcus Excellent design and nice features! I like the *cough* jail *cough* cell-rack-thingy and the exhaust pipe. BTW I see you always put some pieces (like flex-tubes which are hard to bend in LDD or rubber bands) beside the car. I know it's because you can flex them in real but I'd remove them at the presentation. It isn't now saying the car isn't good anymore, it's a hint :)
I do sometimes, but i was lazy this time :P thanks!

Quoting Alex B I forgot to mention my neighbor has a white C3 just like this! Even with the jail *cough* cell *cough* I mean rack! ;)
I forgot to ask after you said this, does the trunk open like this? i couldn't find it on the internet and i have been sick a lot lately so i couldn't go to my friends to find out, so i assumed it was something like the convertible's (though if it opened backwards also it would probably be hard to use)

Thanks guys! i surprise myself too with almost every moc! Lego Builders, not wide enough on the bottom or top? i plan on using minifig hands and flex tube on my model, and my one i ordered will to, that will make the frame look better (as it will be skinnier)i orignally planned to make it 11 wide since the wheels would be better sized and it would better fit the scale of my models (this is my largest scale model in a long time), but then i would have to sacrifice the pointy front D: the next size tires would look to big, and imo it looks better smaller. thanks!

For a twelve year old, thats amazing! I only started building lego cars at late 12, and like mr chinchilla said, I didn't even colour co-ordinate the bricks! :) well done

Dang, son! =P Didn't know you were only 12, I certainly wasn't building like this at that age. (I barely even bothered to color-coordinate the bricks at that age!) Certainly a nice 'vette, though. Loads of cool details and features. Spiffy stuff!

4/5 stars...The only things that are keeping me from giving you a 5 is the wheels are too small and the windshield is a bit narrow. Yes, as Nick said, this is quite impressive for your age. Keep it up - you're on the right track. -LB Jr.

it will probably be next, i already ordered the parts for the other!!! if you use it i would suggest using the axle with stopper because i found on my test that it fell out a lot, also if it is a heavier model it either might not work or would need ones that were less used (either brand new or test the resistance of different ones)

well it's the longest bar i have, and when/if i build it it would use the minifig hands for getting the angle right (ldd doesn't allow you to dis attach the minfig's hands
