Rare footage of the alleged antecedents of the Skakdi.
About this creation
Recent research has found, that Skakdi derive from Rahi. It seems to be likely, that the Skakdi's antecedents were quadruped beings with the capability of reproduction. They were called Skak. After a certain time, the Skak became more intelligent and started to walk around upright on two legs. Then the syllable "di" was added, and henceforth their name was Skakdi. These pictures here were found in a hidden archive somewhere. They show a Skak and its offspring.

All whelps are kind of droll.

Skak also seem to be plagued by occasional itching

Playing hunter and prey.

Notes:
I was just wondering, how a quadruped Piraka would look like, i found them spines always a bit strange and was never fond of this animal-like design-trend in bionicle, so i made one just more animal-ish. So that smaller "stars"- version had to be an offspring, and made my approach complete. I will make more of them, until i get some more of these spines...
