About this creation
Previously on Battlestar Galactica:

Battlestar Triton, Poseidon Fleet.

Kaleta: "Captain, an unauthorized Scout Ship just launched in the port hangar bay."

Strummer: "Okay, we've cleared the hangar bay... Plotting jump..."

Pilot: "Unidentified scout ship: You are ordered to return to the Triton immediately! We are authorized to shoot!"

Dendauw: "Disable them, do not destroy, repeat, do NOT destroy!"

Strummer: "Hang on!!"

Pilot: "They just jumped, Sir! They're gone!"

Aeolus Asteroid Belt, Helios Delta System.

Strummer: "Just need to find a nice place to park..."

Strummer: "Somewhere out of the way..."

Hitomi: "Well, nobody in their right mind would come in here after us, that's for sure."

Strummer: "That's the idea!"

Strummer: "Okay, there's a nice big one!"

Strummer: "Seems to be holding pretty steady..."

Strummer: "Not too much clutter around it either. I like it!"

Strummer: "Powering down..."

Strummer: "Whew! That was quite the getaway! Man, I really thought they had us there for a second..."

Hitomi: "So NOW what are we going to do!?"

Strummer: "We wait. We wait for a signal, com traffic, whatever."

Hitomi: "I know, but what are we going to do when we get to Galactica? Assuming we can even FIND them!"

Hitomi: "They'll think I'm a spy or something, that I'm going to nuke the ship! Who knows what they'll think!! They might even know about Regeneration!"

Strummer: "No no no! You helped me escape, they'll understand! Of course they'll have questions, but it'll be fine. We'll get through it together!"

Hitomi: "You promise?"

Strummer: "I promise... Now, looks like we're going to have some time on our hands..."
Hitomi: "One track mind..."

That sounds familiar. I've still got most of that black Baron guy, but I never had the horse. A friend of mine had a TON of micronauts, so maybe that's why I was never compelled to get my own. I preferred Lego anyway!

Yup, I'm 42. It's hard to beat those old die cast metal toys. Corgi and Dinky made some fun stuff!

Quoting Tim C I have to admit, I try to read when I can, but my opportunities are few and far between. I end up spending the time that I could, (probably should), be reading another episode sitting on my floor and building something. As a result, I comment very little on your MOCs despite the fact that you are nice enough to leave a comment on every single one of mine. However, you write these episodes faster than I read them. A LOT faster. All the comments that I've left deal with what I have read, and not much on the quality of what you've done. Barto, you are a fantastic builder. Your BSG builds blow my mind every time. I love the red ships in this build, and every time a Battlestar is included in your work, my jaw drops. No exception here. The detail is second to none. Aside from that, when I am editing a photo and trying to place one of my builds in space, I look to your work for inspiration. You may very well be the best at presentation on this site. I look at every single one of your builds, though I don't read them because I haven't gotten that far yet. I apologize for never mentioning this in the past, and despite the fact that I rarely leave comments for you, (a problem I will try to remedy), I have the utmost respect for your skills.
Thank you for the thoughtful comment, Chief! I realize it's a long story to follow, so no need for the confession ;) But it's certainly rewarding to hear that you enjoy the pics, and find some ideas from time to time. Thanks again!

Quoting John W. How do you come by these background images like the space scenes and asteroids?
First I troll Google images for various pics. All of the asteroid field shots in this episode are a mixture of different pics that I stitched together myself. I erase around the asteroids, scale them, flip them, that kind of thing. I have some nebula pics, and starfields that I blend as well. So it get a little complicated, but it's just a matter of building layers. Thanks, Dude!
