My 4-wide version of the legendary Porsche 550 spyder

About this creation

I've wanted to build this one quite for a while, but never had an idea how to start.

One day I just started with my 4-wide 911 and went on modifying the design to get closer and closer to the 550.

Four 1x4 bows turned out to be the best choice for the mudguards. Then the most difficult part was the front. I have to admit that I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but enough to make it public ;-))

Update March 12,2012: Oops, I forgot to add the credits to Vinny Turbo for the use of the arches as mudguards. I saw these first on his Puma LMS.

So this is my 4-wide LEGO Porsche 550 spyder. I hope you like it :-))

I understand your point, Vince, no offense taken ;-)) It's true, it was very difficult to do and as I wrote, I'm still not 100% satisfied. But I couldn't resist, I HAD to build it, just for the Renntransporter. A 356 wouldn't be half as cool and equally difficult ;-))

I can clearly see you've try the best you can to build it "the most faithfully", but some cars just can't be reproduice at that scale with Lego due to their to "bubbly"/"roundy" shape... :/ o I would like to rate it more than 3, but my ethics obliged me to rate it "enough", I just can't pass defaults by... Hope you understand, it's not a bad comment! Peace bro'
