Iron Man Repulsion Arm Prototype.
My entry for the Wearable LEGO category in the Mocathalon. Since I know there's going to be a lot of sunglasses and guns, I figured I'd go with something a bit cooler. ;) The chest Arc Reactor is held on using six Lego magnets, so no velcro or tape included.

If you've been living under a rock for the past six years, and haven't seen Iron Man,then you'll have pretty much no idea of what this is.
So I'll sum it up a bit.
*SPOILERS*
After escaping from captivity, Tony Stark sets out to redesign and perfect the Iron suit.
In the process, you're treated to viewing the prototype of the inner arm workings/repulsion system.
That being said, if you're still confused as to what it is... It makes Iron Man fly, and it makes things go boom. A lot.
So I built it.

Chest Reactor. Held on with four LEGO magnets.

Side view.

The impossible angle. The camera decided that it hated this angle and wouldn't work.

Having that reference pic saved your bacon. I was like, "huh?" then I was like, "what?" then I was like..."Oh." You did a fantastic job copying what it looks like. 5 points.

In reference to Kevin's comment... yeah, you TOTALLY look like a younger version of him. Totally unrelated to that though... 5 points! ~ Chris.

I had a bit of a BrickNerd Fit when I spotted this, man. =) TOO cool. Great solutions for the tubing and curves needed to negotiate the human joints within, btw. Quite QUITE awesome! Cheers~

Score = 5 (P.S. in the last picture - and maybe cause your face isn't focused by the camera - you remind me a bit to myself a few years ago)

Pretty mean! Very original take on the category, and using magnets is a great idea. It would be nice if the hand-circular-bit-thing was a little closer to the base of your thumb, though.
