About this creation
MA 2013
The eXtra Pieces

everybody knows that aliens started WW1, and WW2. Most people forget that all the different countries fought together to beat them off.

(sorry about the incorrect uniforms)

there were so few aliens, but their high-tech weapons made them almost invincible.

the trenches truned into graves, that many were slaughtered.

in a single trench, you could have the Japanese...

the British, the Russians...

the Americans, and the French, all fighting together...

dead tree

artistic shot.

(figs removed)
trenches

for those that don't know me, I usually build in castle, etc, so this was a massive leap outisde my comfort zone. it also explains my extreme lack of guns :P

I hope you all enjoyed!

God bless you all!

please could you send me some ideas about how to construct a trench like that please.

Very nice! You did a fantastic job on the trench, something I've always had difficulty with. Although the minifigs could benefit from better posing.

Crafty barbed wire, nice one!

The landscape really has a sense of chaos, it looks like the blood is everywhere. The men all lined up doesn't really make sense with the whole scene. The barbed wire is really cool. Overall I think the scene is lacking some consistency which makes each element look out of place in context. This is just shy of a three for me, 2 points. ~Thoy

Having something "look" like it's chaotic is really tricky to pull off so I give ya full credit for trying there. 2 points ~ Chris.

The landscaping looks really sloppy, you need to work on using pieces so that they create a continuous contour rather than having odd disjointed sections such as when you use the curved wedge right next to a straight plate.

Good, i like the barbed wire and this is a nice story, but i think the ground should be more detailed.

Nice build Tim! Cool details, but some angles along the trench would be nice, it looks pretty unnatural as it is.

Good start for you - but it needed more polish. Nick's comment made sense to me. Possibly a more SNOTy and angly approach would work better. Score = 2

Not bad. I really, really like that barbed wire technique and your detail in the trench. The ground really doesn't look so great with all the random small patches of color. 2 points
