Hats off to you both. The detail and thought that went into both designs is fanatic. I encourage you to follow up on the larger scale viper, this would certainly be listed as one of the great builds (like Sylvains monster in the works).
One question; Has Lego actually released any BSG sets? I honestly cannot fathom why not as it has such a huge MOC following. Admittedly not as Star Wars sized, that's another debate for another time, but has Lego even looked at Mocpages?
Keep on MOCing. Adam Tg Thank you Adam for your generous praise and continuing support. Sadly there are no BSG Lego on the market and may never will be. The costs for Lego would be astounding and the market may also not warranting the production of such creating. Thanks for asking and I hope this helps.

What a treat to see a Viper MOC done in such a large format. I've often wondered if someone out there had attempted something bigger than minifig scale, and this doesn't disappoint. There are still some subtle forms that bother me about Stephan's design. I probably couldn't do any better, though, as this is SUCH a challenging ship with it's tapering, cone-shaped elements (Lego's worst nightmare!), and my hat's off to both of you for tackling it. As for the launch tube, nothing but sheer perfection, Gary. Really - just gorgeous! Great job, as always, with the presentation, too! Thanks so much for making my day with this bad boy!
Thank you Mark. It is always a pleasure getting supportave comments from you. Stephan has set a great platform on this large viper. From this base it can be built upon and made larger and more accurate to the movie models that is why I liked it so much. It also gave me a better way of building in this scale. Anyone can do better NOW but as we all need is a starting point. Stephan generously gave the world this starting point. Cheers and hope to see your finished creation soon. |

Are you willing to part with these beauties? If you'd prefer to create a separate model for each one (so you can keep yours), I am more than happy to pay for the costs of supplies and labor and shipping. If interested, please let me know; I can be reached at

Fantastic Pics of the Viper! I am impressed, that it is nearly built ten to ten, of my LDD-Viper. The Engines looks real respectful in real. For your hard work to count the bricks, I must say, that I also use the instructions to see what bricks are needed - because the html-file has often errors, and not all bricks are actual listed - and I get easier introduced to the building-part itself.
The gravitation-matter is really hard to imagine on LDD, I am glad you found a good solution.
I also want to say Thank You, for your judgement about our Viper. Always nice to share!
Fantastic that you approve of it. Some parts were left off as they kept dropping off whenever I moved it around. You definitely created a masterpiece and a new standard of building. Heres hoping you can design even more brilliant BSG LDD. Thank you for sharing and allowing me to have the privileged to build your Viper.
