And my question is, "How can that thing even be real!?" ;) The answer: Because everything's possible with Lego and people with talent and time on their hands. Super job, you make the Navy proud :) God bless, ~Promar~

God bless America! I'm loving that flag. Super awesome build 100 out of 5! Keep it up. (P.S. You should get all you ships together and set up some sort of battle seen. With explosions of course! :P) ~Jake McAllen.

Very nice! The title is a bit, long, if I'm honest, though still, very nice! I can appreciate a large carrier; my own USS Enterprise CVN-80 is pretty large; but nothing in comparison to yours :-)

Quoting Maxime MaxSamAlex Impressive. Not only is it huge, but there's so much detail crammed into it you'd think it's real. I really like the plane design, and the flag is a nice addition too. Its always fun to have dynamic components in lego like the radar and the lights. Thanks for posting this awesome creation!
I always like to build 'dynamic'. I want to show motion, movement...not something 'static'. Thank you for noticing. :-)

Quoting Jac Pearce Awe-struck. Such an amazing piece. Imagine a life sized vessel!. How long does it take to build something like this?
Life size would be awesome. February, 2011 to May, 2013 = 2 years, 3 months to build.

Staggering, my friend, simply astounding. 26,000 parts. Wow. On one note, however, I would like to say, that maybe the title could be a bit, ehm, shorter. It gives way too much information for it to be an effective title. I would shorten it to "USS Yorktown CV10" and leave everything else in the description and in the actual presentation; I am sure it will get you the views and likes you deserve! Once again, excellent! 5/5

Quoting Matt G-ria Wow, this is extremely impressive. Its Huge, perfectly scaled, accurate, and very detailed. Love the flags on all your ships. Very clever how you capture their motion in the wind.
I don't like to build ships that are 'static' or just sitting there. I want motion. The flags waving in the wind on my larger LEGO ships & the water flow against the hull captures that motion. :-)

This is a really great design here... being that I live in Charleston and the Yorktown is near me, it looks pretty darn accurate... only flaw I see is that you didn't make the picture huge in the settings when you made the page so that we don't have to click each picture to view it. All in all, this is amazing!!!

Quoting Miles Mason The complexity of the island, with its radar, the aircraft, some ready to fly, some with folded wings, the elevator waiting to take another aircraft up...totally awesome.
Thank you, sir. My "totally awesome" moment is the U.S. flag waving in the wind & the soon to be LEGO sea water crashing against the bow. :-)
