12 months ago I designed this unit for a Racing Mecha themed contest, but didn't post it because it was too tall and broke the contest rules.

It was originally unmanned, but I've amended the chest area to include a micro fig pilot.

The colours are the national racing colours for Formula 1 of the Spanish team, for those wondering why I chose the Spanish team colours, I'm actually living in Spain and have done for over 5 years.

I'm actually more pleased with this design than the one I entered in the contest, and cannot for the life of me figure out why I've never uploaded it previously?

Some design elements are taken from the anime "code geass".

As it features a Micro Fig, I've placed it with my latest theme. Though it is much, much taller than the previous "hard suit" style mechs.

The arms feature bladed extensions, these are to provide balance while racing, but can also be used to slice and dice opponents on the track. Especially when the officials aren't watching ;p

My only minor nitpick is that I feel the arms look a bit diminutive compared to the rest of the mech. Maybe add some bricks with studs on all sides in the forearms and add some tiles to the sides of the arms?

As with my other racer mecha, I honestly didn't feel it needed arms at all, which is why they are more like long wings than functioning arms. But yeah, the forearms are a little basic compared to the rest of the design.
