Miniland offers some more expressive options than minifigs, in some situations. Current WIP: miniland wizard of oz. These figures are V1.0. Lion and dorothy are up to 1.1. and i have plans for the tin man...

About this creation

It has been a dream to produce a scene from Wizard of oz in miniland scale. It's a change from mini fig Middle Earth.

Here are our main protagonists.
Dorothy is getting a little taller, with less blocky shoulders. But she still has the power function enabled slippers... I would love tin man to be silver... ( a bricklinking I will go...)

Was there ever a creepier movie monster than the flying monkey(s) acting as the whiches minions?

The only question remaining is "How many 2 x 4 tiles am I going to need for the Yellow brick road?"

Nicely done! Please come and see my 32 vignettes on the whole STORY of the WIZARD OF OZ!!! I told the whole STORY in LEGO! Recreating all the memorable scenes and including research pictures from the movie! I even have everything in KANSAS in Black & White and changing color once in OZ!
