The TCQ-32 Streak spacefighter.
About this creation
The TCQ-32 Streak spacefighter is a ship manufactured by Horizon Industries. It is primarily intended for use as a fast patrol craft, light fighter or as an escort for space freighters. The three engines give it very high speed and maneuverability. It is lightly armed with twin pulse lasers and two missiles. It has a very long range due to the nuclear reactor power plant and the elongated body holding plenty of supplies. These ships are piloted by genetically enhanced humans with faster reaction time, longer endurance and increased vision. Without weapons it is a popular ship for wealthy playboys and stunt pilots. Due to it's shape and color, it has several nicknames, the most common being "Wasps" (used by pilots and mechanics because of their yellow and black coloration, high speed and "sting" of the weapons"), and "Banana Peels" or "Flying Bananas" (Used by opposing factions because of their color, shape and resemblance to a banana peel while upright on a launch pad). Because they are designed to launch straight up off a pad, the bottom fin makes it difficult to launch from a ship, still, some have special launch rails for them. The engine/fin modules are removable, this allows easier storage or quick change-outs of faulty or damaged engines.

Fourth Wall
First, this ship looks way better IRL (don't they always?) This ship started when I was playing around with the three long yellow parts from 9888 Ocean Interceptor. Since there were three, I started playing around with multiples of three and this eventually grew out of it. It is very sturdy and quite swooshable (my sister was looking at me funny when I raced around making jet and laser noises). About the only design flaw is the way the fins are, the one fin sticking down makes it very difficult to pose (hence the stand), but I couldn't change it without extensive rebuilding of the cockpit. I definitely think that this is one of my best mocs. Also I think the purple cockpit looks epicly awesome. Originally it had a clear cockpit, then I saw my purple cockpit, the lightbulb exploded and I put it on at warp speed.

Just for fun!

I think that this colourful and sleek ship looks great. The blue canopy goes really well with the overall yellow scheme. It's like a Chris Foss meets a space version of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter. |

That's a really good looking ship. For a heavier fighter loadout, I would recommend a single larger cannon under the nose, and a "wing" missile rack on either side of the fuselage. It looks so versatile, yet simple and elegant. Very nicely done. ^Blub^ |
