Entry to Round 1 of the SMOT 2013
About this creation
Welcome to my entry for the SMOT. I was able to pull myself away from X-Men Destiny long enough to post this.
Round one: "Fictional Hero”
Take a preexisting fictional hero from any sort of literature, movie, etc, and use it as a template for your opponent’s self-moc. This means you should pick somebody who represents, or has similar colors to, or is otherwise similar to your opponent’s self-moc.
My dastardly opponent? Potu, The Half Toa. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/333978

Reference image. Koth of the Hammer. Koth is a Vulshok (Tribal human) from the plane of existance known as Mirrordin. Which is more commonly known as "New Phyrexia". Koth is a Planeswalker, a special type of mage able to travel to other dimensions/planes. Koth is a red-aligned Planeswalker, and is a powerful geomancer. More on Koth on the MTG salvation wiki.

Only things I'm bummed about is the lower legs and cloth... I feel like I could've done something better with the legs, but I ran out of pats. I was also unwilling to tear apart my only red cape to make another part to Koth's cloth design, so I substituted with a piece of paper. Sorry.

And now to judge your entry for the Ultimate Tournamocoff, which will be judged here because I do not judge mocs on flickr. RULES: I'm looking at the shoulder and I thought it was the piece with a ball on one side, and 2 holes in the other (+o, something like that). I thought you used a banned piece, but I'm taking a closer look at it and I think I can see something different. Other than that, I don't think you broke the rules. 10/10. MOC: A moc worthy of it's authority (assuming it has some), because this is impressive for a moc. Body is well armoured, legs are good, and arms are basic, which are ok because they don't really need to get more complicated that this. It looks fine on this moc. Honestly, there aren't that many flaws, but I just can't describe them. 8.75/10. OVERALL: 18.75/20 |

If you want to continue the contest, then access the page here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/356200 and please read the rules, everyone else who won Round 1 got this exact same message just incase someone else forgot about the contest, especially after the lateness of the first Round. |

And now to judge your moc for the Ultimate Tournamocoff, which I will do here and not on flickr. Now I do see that your entrie is unbelievably late and I don't know how that got in because I sware I thought I locked that topic. Now then I'll take it because knowing how late this contest has already been. So it's all fine. Anyway, to the moc: RULES: The last picture I looked at I saw you obeyed the rules so thank god. 10/10. MOC: It has decency to be great art. Arms look like they fit the moc, you have a nice staff, and the chest is great! My problems? Just the legs, because they don't really seem to work. They just look a little odd to the moc. It's pretty decent for a good moc. 7/10. OVERALL: 17/20 |

Message from the Tournamocoff: Do not forget round 1 will start anytime soon, maybe in a day or 2. This is a message to warn everyone that the contest you joined (The Ultimate Tournamocoff), whenever registered or not, you are in the tournament. Everyone who joined the contest will get this exact same message to warn everyone that the contest will begin soon, and the Round 1 information will be posted as a moc on my page. So I wish the best of luck to all of you in the beginning of this contest!
