Here's to a return!
I've been convinced to return, so here's something to get started with.
About this creation
I know it's been ages since I've posted something, but I've been keeping busy since then. Anyways, I'll get everything in order, here's a work-in-progress model that I've been working on. It's a Pure-bionicle mech, with a space for holding a minifigure. It's not complete yet, due to having issues with making legs that'll work. I'll probably have to reconfigure the bottom half for working legs to be added, but it's a work in progress.

But yeah, if you fellows have any ideas as to how to make sturdy, working legs with what I currently have built, it'd be appreciated.

Quoting Yuri Fassio Things with HF pieces are way easier than before. Just set up a pair of sturdy ball joints as hips, then start packing up limb pieces around them until they can support the weight. You can then cover the mess with HF plating.
I'll give it a shot and see what I come up with.

Well I don't really know you but HEY welcome back:) For the legs I would replace the existing HF bone pieces in front with custom ones(more connection points)with a friction joints connecting to the waist, and then leave the HF bones in the back alone and somewhere down the road of building the upper leg find a connection point for them to attatch to the back of the custom ones. But, I'm not there so I'm not really sure all the ins and outs and what or won't work on your moc:) Something like this I guess. http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=339588&id=/user_images/76227/1346645649m

Looking good so far! Glad to have you back, old buddy old pal. Sadly I'm as bad as you are when it comes to this sort of thing, but I suggest looking at the MOCs of Yuri Fassio, Berial, Banjax and Chronos Omega, because they don't seem to have so much of a problem with it.

Welcome back! I know how you feel. I've been trying to find time to build during breaks (I'm a university student), but have had very little luck.
