An ancient Makuta, mutated by mystic vapors in the deepest mires of Gala Magna, Krykon will shred and trample its way to power!
About this creation
With his youngster, Krika Jr., Krykon returns to reclaim what he lost in ancient time, when he was known as Trika. He will not tolerate another defeat at the hands of the Heroes of Gala Magna!

Krykon is a very powerful creature, as cunning as he's mighty. However, his son Krika Jr. inherited none of his nuances: he's fierce and straightforward.

Krykon's gigantic claws can't be used to fly anymore, but a single strike is all it takes to smite any resistence.

He's still armed with a trusty shoulder-mounted weapon: a terrifying Plasma Projector!

You don't want to be headbutted by this Toa-sized spiked head!

Detail of the work to allow poseability and stability to its massive torso, articulated in 2 points (chest-abdomen-hips sections).

Wait! Who's this fool trying to stop Krykon's plans of conquest?

It's a racing hero! And since he's a fiery wheeler, and at some point my brain just shut down, his name is Johnny Blaze!

"Look at me. No seriously, LOOK AT ME. I don't stand a chance." - Johnny Blaze

Blacklight!

The "SOON" picture.

EXTRAS
This was the early version. It does look awesome, but it was not what I wanted. I wanted a scaled-up Krika.

See how poseable it was, it's a pity it had to go.

New version. I also tried to stay true to the original color scheme wherever I could.

Complete, size comparison with my Krika revamp.

Note #1: as I mentioned, this was built before I moved, but I didn't get the chance to post it before. I'm slowly bringigng here my collection, so new stuff will come in a few... weeks? Months? Who knows. Stay tuned.
Note #2: as you may have guessed, it was a #### to pose. Good luck making it stand on a sleek surface! But on a soft surface it can stand as well as Krika does, even on 3 legs.
I hope you enjoyed the page, comments are welcome.

Wow, I completely mised this MOC. Completly amazing! Gotta love that head, the way you used the Krika heads for the eyes is quite clever. Also, its really great to see a non-humanoid this big.
Thanks. To tell you the truth, I liked the humanoid version better, but it was not... well, Krika-shaped. I'm revamping Krika once again right now :) |

That's very cool! I knew you would one day do this! Very Impressive! How about Melkor? I remembered that a couple of days ago... is he coming along at all?
Nope. I still don't have most of my stuff here, and I have another big mech I want to do first. I might have the necessary to build a small one, though. |

I imagine that thing would be larger than my arm. In other words, it's huge.
The standing version was almost 70 cm, but of course on all fours it's a lot shorter. |

Krika never looked so good, Yuri. This Ancestor is a powerfully-built Beast, and still preserved the taxonomy of the Krika design. Those long, loping fore-scythes are even nicer with the bicep area armoring you added. I cannot resist larger MOCs, and this makes me love my chosen niche even more. NPU in MANY areas, but off the top of my head: the amazing skull assembly, the wheels to thicken the shoulders the tripled-blading on the fore-scythe tips... you get it. Cheers, and as always, excellent work! - that "Dented 2 X 4 Brick" MOC could appear anytime, Sir - be on the lookout. ;)
Thanks man, I like the head too, in fact it was the first thing I made. As you can see in the WIP pics, I wasn't sure about what to do with it. |

Amazing, Terrifying Build, I am in awe. It's sheer size is amazing in and of itself, but the build is great to boot. This is definitely a win of a MOC, Great Job! |

This is epic. Those wheels give the shoulders a real bulky, muscly look that goes well with the rest of the build. All around, this is an excellent MOC! |

This is probably the most impressive revamp I have ever seen. I always wanted to make a giant version of a BIONICLE set, and I'm pretty happy that you decided to do the same with one of the best canister sets, Krika. My favourite part has to be the head, but the arms, cannon and torso are also amazing. Magnificent use of the parts, my dear!
Thanks. Krika has always been one of my favorites, and the one I revamped the most.
