About this creation

The ship is probably what Lego would call "midi" scale, and is as close to Kelso's WIP photos as I could manage with a few artistic liberties.

Since I couldn't find any images of the rear of the engine block from either the Eye of Chaos WIPs or the Sprit of Fire, I winged this aft section.

And unlike Kelso's version, mine is swooshable!

If you're unfamiliar with Mark Kelso's epic project, take a look at this folder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Haha, lovely stuff! @Mark Kelso - you should take Paul's 'swooshable' comment as a challenge - better start working on those biceps ;p

I think you have just invented "squooshability"

Really cool, Paul - thanks so much! I'm actually FINALLY about finished with the SHIP - nothing left to tackle but the back end engines. Maybe I could use your version for reference to finish mine! ;)

Great replica Paul! Huge ships full of intricate design are great, but so are swooshables. Cheers~

Haha, classic. Nice use of the smooth angled parts for the sand-plosion. And of course, excellent midiscale. My condolences, Kelso...

Excellent midi scale of Mark Kelso's epic ship. Looks like you finished before him and with no problems. ^_^

I thought Kelso had facial hair? In my book, size beats swooshablility. Great reduction model!

Kelso: "I always knew hanging it from the ceiling had it's 'down sides'..." Heh heh, all jokes aside, your replica of Mr. Kelso's incredible WIP is most excellent!
